Chapter 11

CJ POV
After lunch, I was going to ELA class when I realized Maddox a was in the same class as me. Great.
"CJ, can we talk?" He asked.
"You should've talked with Jasmin, not me."
"Come on CJ, this conversation is about her. I want to apologize and make things right between us, but I don't know how."
"Well, you shouldn't be an idiot in the first place."
"I said I was sorry, okay?"
"Okay fine...what do you want from me?" I asked, already without patience.
"Do you know how to make things up with Jasmin?"
I started really thinking about how they could be at least friends again, suddenly, something came into my mind.
"She always loved aquariums, maybe you can take her this weekend." I said.
He smiled at me, like I was the smartest person in the world.
"Alright, I will do that then! Thank you CJ."
"Whatever." I said, rolling my eyes.

Jasmin's POV
In friday before school started, I was sitting in the cafeteria next to CJ, when suddenly Maddox came to our table.
"Hi Jasmin, can I ask you something?" He said, kinda nervous.
"Sure, go ahead."
"What about if I take you to the aquarium today after school? Would you like that?"
I was confused for a second, why did Maddox ask that out of nowhere without any reason?
"Well, that sounds good." I agreed, my cheeks turning red.
Why were they turning red!?
"Good! After school when you get home, wait for me to pick you up." He explained.
I nodded, and then he just disappeared to another table more far away.
"What just happened?" I asked CJ.
"Well, looks like you have an aquarium date today." She said, smiling at me.
"Shut up" I said, my cheeks turning red again.
Through the rest of the day, I couldn't stop thinking about my "date". Why was he doing this in the first place? What if he still feels bad about what happened in the summer? But I forgave him, making him feel better, right? Well, I guess I will find out today.
