(C/D's pov)

As we make our way through Yellow's section, I made sure to be walking beside Blue and not on her shoulder while she hid Steven and Connie in her gem crevice again. If there's one gem that's hardheaded, it's Yellow, it's going to take a lot of convincing to get her to free the Crystal Gems, but if it's for Steven's happiness then who am I to deny it?

We were all silent the entire walk, but it hardly mattered at the moment. As we crossed the bridge to get to Yellow's room, I took a deep breath, ready for a difficult conversation.
Once we were on the other sides, we were greeted with two topaz guards in front of the door, once they saw us they immediately let us in without question, sometimes it's better to be a Diamond.

The door's slid open, but it was dark, strange, Yellow usually keeps it nice and bright in her room, considering yellow is one of the most vibrant colors in the spectrum.
Nonetheless, Blue walks in, and I followed suite, but I hate the darkness.

Suddenly, several yellow diamond-shaped lights switch on, illuminating the room, just ahead I could see the bubbles containing fragments of the clusters of gem pieces, I hated looking at them, those poor gems... But then I see the Crystal Gems, all sharing one bubble, how cruel, they should've had their own bubbles each.
I shudder, seeing Yellow's harsh gaze as she sat below the bubbled gems with an angry glare.

"What... Are you doing?" Yellow asked through gritted teeth. But Steven showed no fear to Yellow, "I'm taking back my friends!"
Yellow looked up at Blue and I, "What are you doing Blue? (C/n)?" She clarified, she was obviously trying to ask us, not Steven.
"Take Pink back to the tower." Yellow said sternly, a demand.
"She prefers to be called... Steven" Blue replied, smiling down at Steven as I looked up at her with a smile.

Yellow gripped the armrest of her throne in rage, causing it to crack under her palm. "What are you talking about!? You can't keep bending the rules for her, Blue! She has to set an example, and we have to set an example, if you bend the rules for her, we have to bend them for everyone!" Yellow snapped as she stood up from her throne.

"Well maybe you should!" Connie argued, I looked down at them, both of them were visibly sweating and shaking, I look at myself, so was I.
Yellow simply gave Connie a dirty look then looked back Blue.
"Take them back to the tower, now!" Yellow demanded, stepping closer as to assert her authority.
"I. Won't." Blue said sternly.
"Then I'll do it myself." Yellow said before reaching down to grab Steven and Connie.
Suddenly, Blue slapped Yellow's hand away.

Yellow looked dumbfounded, "Blue?", in a tense moment of silence, Blue blasted Yellow, pushing her back, and starting a fight.
While the two were fighting, Connie and Steven began to sneak off, I wanted to help them reach the gems but Steven can already jump really high so there's no point. I joined Blue to help fend off Yellow. I didn't really want to, none of us should fight amongst our own kind, but Yellow won't be convinced with words.

(A/n, your ability is to freeze a gem's limbs in place, also the same type of blast Blue does)

I launch a blast at Yellow before jumping onto Blue's shoulder for support.
I glanced at Steven and Connie, who had a hold of the bubbled gems, but Yellow reached for them, luckily Steven formed a bubble around themselves as soon as Yellow got a hold of them.
I extended my hand out to stop Yellow, but Blue beat me to it.
Blue grabbed hold of Yellow's wrist, now in a grapple.

Now all three of us were in a struggle, I was holding onto Yellow's shoulders whiley feet clung onto Blue's. "When we thought Pink was shattered, when she abandoned us, I alone was there for you two- and you would use your powers against the ME?!" Yellow yelled as she pinned us against the wall, the tension built up until she pushed ud through the wall and we all fell.
We all yelled, in midair I reached for Steven and Connie catching them in my arms before we landed.
It was a pretty harsh fall, but nothing too bad.
