Chapter 5: Confronting Rose pt: 1

So this was a bit after Steven escaped Homeworld, this'll be just you, Yellow and Blue making a plan to track down Steven.

(Reader's pov)

It had been hours of searching for Rose Quartz, it has been concluded that Rose escaped Homeworld. But luckily Earth is the planet she is likely to retreat to, strange.. after turning herself in she escapes.

Yellow, Blue and I had decided that once we clear up our next appointments we will meet up in our ships to confront Rose.

*A few hours later*

I was scrolling through the new blueprints for my bismuths on planet Ziria (random name/ your first planet). Some of them I liked, and some I knew could use some work, but with the new technology in era 2 I can easily make edits for the design.

But as I was going through the work my mind drifted to some memories of Pink.
How she would always find a way to make us laugh, she always tried to make us happy, even if it was for no reason.

It made me think of the game we used to play at Blue's pool.....

(FLASHBACK)

(Second person)

You sighed happily as you sat down in the relaxing blue water. It was you, Blue, Yellow, White, and Pink Diamond.
You were all playing Pink's favorite game, the one where she would sink to the bottom of the pool and sing, and you were above guessing the song.

"Ahhh~" sang Pink. You thought long and hard about what the song was, but Blue beat you to the answer, "Umm, Gem's Cradle?(made up song name)" guessed Blue.
Pink rose up from the water with a splash, "Yeah!" She said. You laughed together, but suddenly Blue's Diamond Chime has sounded and Blue's Pearl emerged from the side of the pool.
"My Diamond, your next appointment.." the shy Pearl said. Blue sighed, "I have to go." White sat up as well, "I also have a meeting to attend to. See you later starlights~" White said sweetly.

Yellow's chime rang, "My Diamond, the Diamond fleet has returned with important news." Yellow Pearl said, "I had fun, but I must go." Yellow said as she sat up, Pink frowned.
"Aww, already? But we were having so much fun..." Pink whined, you smiled and turned Pink's head to look at you.

"Come along Pink, let's go to my hot springs, I still have a few more hours before my next appointments." You said, and Pink's eyes lit up like two pink fires. You grabbed her hands and led her to your hot springs with both Pink's and your Pearl.

*Small time skip*

You both sighed and relaxed as the warm water rose on your bodies. You glanced at Pink, "So Pink, what's been on your mind?" You asked, she looks at you with troubled eyes.
"I've been hearing Blue and Yellow talking about all these great things they're doing across the galaxy, but I'm just jealous. They have so many colonies, even you! And I don't even have one..." Pink said gloomy.

You thought for a moment, surely Pink had matured a bit to have one.
And she can't mature any more if she doesn't have responsibilities to teach her that, it'll take a lot of convincing to get Yellow and Blue to give her her own planet.

"Tell you what Pink" you said, and Pink looked up at you in interest. "I'll convince Yellow and Blue to give you your own planet. If I can't, I'll have you help me with mine, okay?" You proposed, and you swore, you've never seen Pink smile so wide before now.

"Yes yes yes yes!" Pink chanted in ecstasy (it means happiness).

You chuckle a bit as the memory fades away.....
