The end of it

Only to find his face planted in warm wood. He groaned in pain and lifted his body off the wooden floor, looking around he spots he is now in his bedroom and it was shining brightly outside. His bed next to him which looked untidy and mangled. Leo looked up at the bed curtains and touched them gently, smiling happily, "they're still here!" He smiled and laughed before pausing.

"I'm still here."

With a wide smile Leo swiftly stands up, "I'm still here!" He swirls around with his arms wide open.
"I don't know what to do... I'm light as a feather, merry as a schoolboy." Leo gleefully kicked his legs and danced. He laughs again before freezing. "Ive heard that laugh before..." Leo went into thought before smiling and laughing again, the same laugh as the Ghost of Christmas present.
Leo rushes and opens his large window, leaning out and admiring the cold air. He peers down at a young boy who carries a large sled down the street, "I say, what's today?" Leo shouted to the boy.

"Eh?" The boy raised his head towards Leo.

"What's today, my fine fellow?" Leo smiled.

"Today? Why, Christmas Day." The boy answered.

Leo gasped, "it's Christmas Day? I haven't missed it. The spirits have done it all in one night... they can do anything they like of course they can. Of course they can." Leo laughed to himself. "Hello, my fine fellow. Do you know the poulterer's on the corner?" Leo shouted down.

"I should hope I did." The boy smiled.

Leo laughed, "what an intelligent boy. Do you know whether they've sold the prize turkey that was hanging there? Not the little prize turkey, the big one." Leo asked.

"The one as big as me?" The boy tilted his head.

Leo smiled, "what a delightful child. Yes, my buck." Leo nodded.

"It's hanging there now." The boy answered.

"Is it? Go and buy it, then!" Leo smiled.

"Walker!" The boy waves off and walks away.

"No, no, I'm in earnest. Go and buy it, bring it back here and I'll give you a shilling. Come back in less than five minutes, and I'll give you a half a crown." Leo offered.

The boy then dashes away. "I'll send it to Donnie's. He shan't know who sent it. It's twice the size of tiny Tim." Leo laughed and shut the window.

He leaves the bedroom and glides against the carpet, finding his butler, Bebop, cleaning the stairs. "Anton Zeck!" Leo called. Said Warthog gapes at him, "merry Christmas!" Leo cheered. Bebop gasped, "oh my god!" He panicked and rushed downstairs away from him, "he's gone mad!" Bebop shouted.
Leo smiled and sits on the banister of the stairs, sliding down with ease and reaches the bottom at the same time the warthog does, "why aren't you the nicest looking fellow." Leo smiled, Bebop yelps and runs off.

Leo hums and rushes out the front door. Closing it he faces the door knocker, "I shall love it as long as I live. What an honest face it has." Leo smiled.

Soon, the boy from before returns with the Poulter and the turkey. "Hello. Here's the bird." The boy points.
Leo turns and prounces down the stairs, "hello! How are you? Merry Christmas." Leo pulls out a shilling and gives it to boy.
Leo then observed the turkey, "why, it's impossible to carry that to Camden Town. You must have a cab." Leo smiled.

Later he shuts the boy and the Poulter into a carriage, "Drive on, my good man." Leo smiled to the rooftop driver who tugs at the reins and the horses began to walk.
