The reason of the name of Mikey's Son: In the early 19's when Workhouses were still running, there was a man called Frend. He was a poor man who was constantly in and out of the workhouses. And had unfortunately died in one. He was known for being a generous man however with no recognition.
Also I was originally going to go for another name but I felt that Frend had just hit the bill perfectly since it sounds like 'Friend' and it could show off Mikey's good nature in naming his son. It also fit the terms of London conditions at the time.

How long did it take to make the book? Just little over 1 year. I had began this book last year however I could not finish the book in time for Christmas. So I held it back for this year.
