REALLY Wonka

This is a concept that I've seen in other fanfiction before, and it's a concept that I really like. It's the idea that a certain character isn't really who they say they are, and is just pretending to be that person; usually for malicious reasons.

I like to do this with Willy Wonka. He does it as a kind of lifestyle. The real Willy Wonka likes to go by "William" because "Willy" is just his alter ego.

The most important thing about the alter ego lifestyle is that the people who know you as your alter should never know of your true self. It defeats the entire purpose of the lifestyle.

The people who know William are Nyxie, Coco, Veruca, and Wonka's friends.

I want to mention that it wasn't William's choice for Veruca to know about him. Veruca found out because Coco decided to tell her, and William found out about it a few months later. However, he came to the realization that Veruca is actually very trustworthy when it came to secrets. So he decided that there's no harm in allowing her to be around his true self, and allows her to be very often.

NOTE: If it's decided that the alter ego should not exist within a certain story, then this chapter and anything related to or referencing it (in regards to Wonka's character) is completely irrelevant.

PHYSICAL APPEARANCE:

William looks almost the same as Wonka, but there are a few differences. William has brown eyes instead of blue. The same shade of brown as Coco's eyes. (I've heard that Wonka's eyes are supposed to be purplish, but they've always just looked blue to me.)

He sometimes will have facial hair, but never lets it get too long.

When it comes to the way he dresses, William dresses exactly like Wonka. More specifically, the casual look. William never wears the top hat and cane look. There's only three differences: 1. He doesn't wear the jacket. 2. His black T-shirt has some kind of design on it. 3. Sometimes he'll wear jeans, but they still have to be black.

William has a tattoo sleeve on his right arm. On the lower arm is ocean waves. Within the ocean waves are various different things related to pirates. The largest and most notable thing being a pirate ship with black sails being pulled beneath the waves by the kraken. On the upper arm is a man with no nose and tentacles for a beard. Around the man is a scroll that reads "Davy Jones". All of his tattoos are done in black ink. None are in color.

The reason that Wonka won't wear short sleeves in front of people is because William's tattoos contradict Wonka's fears and beliefs.

SPEECH:

William's way of speaking is very different from Wonka's. He doesn't say nearly as many weird or awkward things. His voice is slightly lower but still recognizable. Even his tone is somewhat different. Forget everything you know about Wonka's speech patterns because none of it applies to William.

William swears just as much as Coco does. (So that's actually where she gets it from.) It's kind of weird when I say that someone "doesn't say anything too offensive" because people have different ideas about what is or isn't offensive.

William calls people "dude" a lot and says "y'all" when addressing three or more people at once. He can be just as witty as Coco is, but mostly just when he's in a good mood.
