Amy (Kinda Story Idea)

NOTE: I originally started writing this to put under "Longer Story Ideas" and then it started to turn into a chapter of said story. So that's the reason it might be worded a bit strangely. But I really like this idea and decided to still include it. I also want to note that this is related to the whole "Willy Wonka is just an alter ego" thing.

--------------------------------------------

A long time ago, Wonka had an alter ego called Mort Rainey. At that time he had a long term girlfriend named Amy. He was madly in love with her. He believed that she felt the same way about him, but she didn't. He found out that she'd been cheating on him with a guy called Ted for several months. What he couldn't understand was why she did it. Everything seemed fine between them. He was happy. He thought she was happy. The discovery of Ted had lead him into a very dark place, and their relationship went way downhill.

Long story short, he tried and failed to kill her. She came very close to death, but just barely managed to get away. She spent weeks in the hospital. Neither she nor Ted had seen or heard from Mort after her attempted murder. It's like he never even existed.

Wonka hadn't thought about Amy and Ted in years. But he never forgot about them.

There comes a time when one of the other families will have their extended family come and stay for a visit. This doesn't happen very often, but it isn't too unusual either. Wonka has met many of the other family members before. The two that were "new" to him where a blonde woman and her husband. From the moment he saw her, every single memory of what she did, and he tried to do, came rushing back to him. She of course didn't recognize him. Why would she? He was so different now. Or at least it seemed that way. They'll be staying here for six weeks. Will he be able to handle her presence for that long? She better hope so.

He's got everyone fooled. Even Ted. Now don't get it wrong, he hates Ted too, but Amy holds a special place in his heart; and not the loving part. Not anymore. Nobody suspects a thing. He acts extra wonky while they're here. But not too wonky. That'll be suspicious. Even Amy herself is fooled until one day when he's completely alone with her.

He keeps up the act while he asks her to confirm that they are alone together. This is the first time she sees his true self since the day he tried to kill her. He doesn't change his voice, only his tone. This way she won't realize who he is. They're in the kitchen.

So that's all I had so far. But there's a few things that I want to add:

1. Amy Milner is Scarlett's sister.

2. When Amy tries to tell people about Wonka, NOBODY believes her because it all seems too out of character for him, and she doesn't have any kind of solid evidence. Everyone believes that she's having some kind of psychotic episodes. (I hope I'm using that term correctly... Basically, everybody just thinks she's LITERALLY going crazy.)

3. Wonka will never (intentionally) reveal to Amy that he was Mort; because he likes the extra torment of her not understanding why he behaves the way he does towards her.
