Mikey woke up early like he always did so that he could make his brothers breakfast.

Mikey decided he would gear up after breakfast and headed to the kitchen. No one else was up yet, but that didn't bother Mikey.

Mikey hummed slightly as he opened the fridge. He glanced around, trying to decide what to cook before closing the fridge and sighing.

Nothing seemed good enough. Mikey wanted to make this the best breakfast his brothers had ever had. Maybe then they would cheer up some.

Mikey washed his hands and turned on the oven, letting it preheat as he figured out what baked good he would be making. Just as he was about to get the ingredients out, he heard a horrified scream.

He stopped and turned to find Donnie standing there looking like he saw a ghost. Dude, am I that bad looking without my mask and pads? Mikey joked. Donnie blinked. Before Mikey could process what was happening, Donnie had rushed over and scooped Mikey up into his arms.

Hey! What? Bro, put me down! Mikey said, trying to get out of Donnie's hold. Donnie clutched Mikey close, and Mikey realized Donnie was shaking. Are you okay? Mikey asked. Donnie didn't reply and held Mikey closer as he walked over to the oven and turned it off. Mikey glanced up at Donnie curiously and noticed he was crying. Mikey's eyes widened.

Before Mikey could say anything, Leo and Raph came rushing into the room. Donnie! Raph shouted, sounding alarmed. What's wrong?! Leo asked, slightly panicking. We heard you scream. Leo added.

Dudes, thank shell you're awake! Something is seriously wrong with Donnie. Mikey said. Everyone ignored him as though he hadn't said anything.

Mikey again attempted to get out of Donnie's arms but stopped when Donnie broke down into tears.

Donnie, what's wrong? Leo asked. It's all my fault. Donnie mumbled. What's your fault? Raph asked. I don't understand how it happened. Donnie mumbled. Donnie, what happened? Leo asked. Donnie glanced up at Leo, still holding Mikey in his arms. I came into the kitchen to get some coffee like I normally do, and I found Mikey in the middle of the kitchen with the oven on. Donnie wailed.

Mikey's face scrunched up in confusion. This wasn't the first time Donnie had walked into the kitchen to find Mikey preparing breakfast, so why was this time any different.

What?! Leo and Raph shouted at the same time. Is he okay?! Raph asked worriedly and rushed over to attempting to take Mikey from Donnie.

I didn't think he could reach the oven. Donnie wailed. How did he even get out of the crib? Leo asked.

Mikey was totally confused about how his brothers were acting and what they were talking about.

I don't know. Donnie said. It's not your fault, Donnie. Leo reassured. Yeah. Mikey seems fine. Raph said, smiling at Mikey.

Mikey was even more confused. Raph never smiled at him.

Guys, is everything okay? You're all acting weird. Mikey said. No one answered him. It was as though they couldn't hear him. Hello?! Mikey asked. He still received no response. Mikey squirmed, trying to get out of Donnie's hold. Leo noticed and smiled.

He sure is active today. Leo commented. Then, with a smile, Leo reached over and tried to tickle Mikey. Mikey squirmed harder and started laughing as Leo hit his sensitive spot. Mikey was very ticklish. That was something he had never outgrown.

Mikey noticed that all of his brothers were smiling for once. It felt nice. Leo stopped his tickling assault and turned to Donnie.

Has Mikey had breakfast? Leo asked. Raph grunted. What do you think? He asked sarcastically. Leo rolled his eyes. Okay, Raph, I get it. Leo said. Donnie seemed to smile a bit and then started jostling Mikey in his arms. Mikey was startled and squeaked in suprise. It was then that Raph noticed something.

Um, Donnie, is Mikey wearing his diaper? Raph asked.

Mikey shot a glance at Raph, confused.

Donnie's eyes widened. Oh, no. He must have taken it off again. Donnie said, acting like all this made sense and was a regular occurrence. Donnie, go change him. Raph and I will get breakfast going. Leo said. Donnie nodded and started walking towards the bedrooms, still holding onto Mikey.

Mikey was confused and attempted to get down.

I know you want to play Mikey, but we have to get you ready first. Yes, we do. Donnie said, using a baby voice.

What are you talking about? Mikey asked. Why are you talking to me like I'm a baby? Mikey asked. Donnie didn't answer, and Mikey frowned as they passed his room. Um, Donnie, where are we going? You just passed my room. Mikey said. Donnie either didn't hear him or ignored him and headed for the guest room.

When Donnie opened the door, Mikey's eyes widened. The room no longer looked like a guest room but a nursery. Mikey was confused. There wasn't a baby that lived here. He was even more confused at the size of everything. It could all fit him. Suddenly, it all clicked into place, and Mikey's eyes widened in realization and fear. He was the baby.

Mikey cried out in alarm and struggled to get out of Donnie's arms. Woah, hold on, bud. Donnie said, and before Mikey could escape, Donnie had set him down on the changing table. Mikey tried to get up but was strapped in. He tried to unhook the straps, but Donnie's hands kept getting in the way. Mikey could only watch in horror as Donnie put him in a diaper.

Donnie didn't stop there much to Mikey's disapproval. He pulled out an oversized onesie with ducks on it and changed Mikey into it.

Mikey's face burnt bright red in embarrassment. There we go. All done. Donnie said and unhooked the straps, lifting Mikey into his arms.

You did so well, bud. Let's go get you something yummy in your tummy. Donnie said in a baby voice, kissing Mikey on the forehead. Mikey was bright red and so embarrassed he didn't even try to fight Donnie.

Mikey knew something was terribly wrong. Why was this happening to him? More importantly, why did his brothers not seem to find it out of the ordinary? Mikey pondered these questions as Donnie carried him back to the kitchen.

He didn't know the answers to his questions, but he better figure it out soon, or who knows what will happen.
