Chapter 22: Zwei the dog

It was another day at Beacon Academy and we see Y/n holding a package for Ruby and Yang as he knock on Team Rwby's door and he open and enter the room. He step inside seeing the girls just relaxing as he called out.

Y/n: Hey ladies how's things?

Yang: (smile) Yo, nothing much. What you got there?

Y/n: Oh your package. It was just sitting at the front door so I figured I'll deliver it to you.

Ruby: (smile) Yay package!

Blake: Who is it from?

Y/n: According to address it seems to be Taiyang.

Yang: Huh wonder what he sent us.

Ruby: (smile) One way to find out!

Ruby takes the package and opens the package. They all look inside the package.

Y/n: Huh I don't see anyth-

Suddenly something tackles Y/n as he fell onto the ground as something lands on top of him and then it begins to lick at his face as he laughs and we see a black and white dog. When the girls see the dog Ruby became exited.

Ruby: (smile) Zwei~!!!

Weiss: He sent a dog in a mail?

Yang: Oh he always does that.

Blake: Your dad or your dog.

They then see Blake on the top bed as Y/n grabs Zwei while he gets up.

Y/n: (smile) So this is the adorable dog you talk about.

Ruby: (smile) Yep! Isn't he cute.

Y/n: (smile) Yep. So why did your dad bring Zwei here?

Yang picked up a small letter and read through it.

Yang: Seems like dad needed to do something and can't take care of him so he sent Zwei here.

Weiss: Are we even allow pets?

Y/n: Well as long he doesn't cost too much trouble, I think it will be fine.

Yang: (smile) Yeah it will be fine.

Weiss wasn't sure but she'll allow it. After all she can't help how adorable Zwei is so she bend down and pet on Zwei which made Zwei to lick her which made her laugh which surprised Y/n that she likes dogs.

Y/n: Hey Blake you wanna meet Zwei?

Blake: I'm not much of a fan of dogs.

Y/n: Oh......right. Well looks like you girls have a new room-mate.

Yang: (smile) Yep.

Y/n wonders of something as he pick up the box and flips it over.

Y/n: I wonder if you dad sent some food for Zwei. Surely dogs need food to li-

Suddenly a piles of can dog food falls out of the box and piled up on top of Y/n. There was a mountain of can dog food as Y/n poke his head out of the cans and then Zwei walk up to Y/n and lick hiz cheek.

Yang: (smile) Looks like he likes you.

Y/n: Lucky me.

Then a can opener hits Y/n on the head and onto thr floor while Zwei sniffs on it.

(Later)

We find Y/n and Ruby playing with Zwei as Y/n throws a stick whoch Zwei catches it and returns it back to Y/n. He give the stick to Y/n which he pet Zwei on the head.

Y/n: (smile) Aren't you a good boy.

Zwei: Bark!

Y/n: Yo Ruby wanna take a turn?
