Chapter 8: The first date

It was a nice day at Beacon Academy as we see students walking by and minding their own business while we see Y/n sat down by a tree and looking down at his studies while he grabs a cookie out of the small bag and eating it.

He eats the cookie while he continues to study when he heard something above him so he look up and couldn't see anything so he just shrugged and look down and continues reading while eating some cookies. Then he heard something above him again so he look up and there was nothing again.

He knows it's not a bird or a squirrel so he try to ignore it and go back to his studies. Half a second later there was another noise so he look away from his book and see only to jump back when Ruby appear upside while she turn her head to him.

Ruby: (smile) Hi there.

Y/n: Holy! Damn you jumped me a bit.

Ruby: Sorry, couldn't help seeing you eating some delicious cookies. Mind I have a try?

Y/n: Sure.

Ruby: (smile) Sweet!

There was a snap and she fall from the tree and land hard onto the ground. Y/n let's out a small smile as Ruby sat back up and takes one cookie and takes a bite and it was delicious to her.

Y/n: (smile) Guess you like cookies?

Ruby: (smile) I love cookies. I don't know what to do if they are no more.

Y/n: (smirk) That would be a nightmare. So what brings you here?

Ruby: Oh well I saw you on your own so I figure I can come over and talk to you a bit. Where's your team?

Y/n: They're just visiting their family at their kingdom. They did offer me to come but I wanna catch up with my studies so yeah.

Ruby: (smile) Sounds cool.

Y/n: (smile) Yeah. What about you and Weiss? Getting along well?

Ruby: Yeah she start to see me as a leader well I show respect to her as her leader. All in all, everything seemed to be good.

Y/n: (smile) Well I'm glad for that Ruby. It's not easy to be leader at the first few days to some.

Ruby: Yeah I guess so. Say Y/n?

Y/n: Yeah?

Ruby: You got plans after this? You know.......any plans?

Y/n: Well i was thinking heading into town and walk about a bit.

Ruby: Hey can I come?

Y/n: You sure? What about your team?

Ruby: (smile) They will be fine but it will be great for sure.

Y/n: Well I guess you can come along. Besides I might someone to watch my back when someone tries to mug me.

Ruby: (smirk) Don't worry, I will make sure muggers won't get any near you. I'll blast them away.

Y/n: (chuckle) Alright then, well I'll see you later then.

Ruby: (smile) Same, take care.

She then left and while she is walking she blush to bit, thinking how it's like they are going on a date and hopefully nothing will not ruin their day.

Nick, Igris and Alex where at their home kingdom of the Grand order of knights as we see the trio standing in front of the the king and his two wife's as Eric lend back onto his throne chair and ask Nick and the others.

Eric: (smile) Welcome back you three. What do you have to report?

Nick: Small things father but Ozpin is hiding something for sure and I think he knows who we are and where we are from.
