Chapter Three

Isaiah
I sat in the new lounge room, bored without Claire around to make a snarky comment. Emmett and the gang walked in, but they didn't look like they were up for anything either, especially Jasper "I miss Claire" Emmett sighed as he sat beside me.

Jasper's head snapped up at the sound of Claire's name but once he realised she wasn't here his mood dropped more than it was already "sorry man" Emmett said softly. Esme and Carlisle walked in shortly after "guys I know it's hard but it's for the best" Carlisle said trying to brighten the mood.

"Carlisle, we moved because Edward wanted to. None of us did but you dragged us along and we came with because we're a family but why are we being punished to stay away when Edward isn't even here. That was the whole point in us leaving together" I said standing up and crossing my arms "well...Edward just needs some time" I scoffed as the two walked out of the house.

"This is so unfair" Rosalie scoffed "tell me about it" Alice agreed. A buzz in my pocket pulled me out of my thoughts about this situation. I looked at the phone to see Claire's name "I'm gonna go on a hunt. I'll be back in a little bit" I said quickly putting my phone away and heading out the door before anyone could reply. When I was far enough away from vampire hearing distance I pulled my phone back out.

C: Call me!

I pressed call on her contacted and waited for her to pick up. It rung twice before I heard ruffling on the other side "Claire?" "Isaiah?" Claire sniffled. As soon as I heard the sniffle, I knew something was wrong "Claire what's wrong? Are you ok?"

"No" she sobbed "what's wrong?" "I'm...I'm pregnant" I froze at her words. I hadn't even noticed I dropped the phone "Isaiah?" I quickly picked the phone up off the ground and brought it back to my ear "how are you pregnant?"
