After dinner I went to the rooftop to calm my mind. I still can't believe that jaan left me on our wedding day. Rooftop is the only place I can calm myself down. Reaching there I saw Ashi sitting there in her deep thought .sensing someone's presence she turned around and seeing me she turned around to leave but I stopped her mid way and told her to sit. after sometime of silence I thought to tell her the reality of that bastard .But I was shocked that she already knew the truth and was quiet because she loved him. Indeed she was something and the shayari she spoke was a next level. I am not a fan of shayari's but I think I liked it more because I can relate to it.
After some time we went to our room and I told her to sleep on the couch because the couch was not good enough for anyone to sleep. due to insomnia I knew I was not getting any sleep but still I laid down on the bed. I woke up because of the sunrays falling on my face .Adjusting to the light I opened my eyes to see I was sleeping on top of ashi.checking the time I saw it was 8 in the morning . How did I slept for so long? I never sleep more than 2 hours. I many times went to the Doctor but they said I was not getting peace while sleeping. is she my peace? No of course not. I quickly got up from the bed before she woke up and knew I was sleeping on her.
After getting ready I left for my work. Today I had to go to a college to interview students. Here businessmen of various companies are coming and will choose student for placements. One by one the students came and started giving their interviews. After some time the door opened revealing a student who was her. What is ashi doing here? She too looked shocked seeing me and quickly changed her expression sitting in one of the chair.oh so she studies here. Soon her interview started. No doubt she was indeed good. Till now no one had compete her. Impressive.
Soon all the interviews finished and it was break after which the results will be announced. Our company had chosen ashi and soon I need to announce that. But I had different plans. Afterall after what happened to me how can I make things easy for her. And I knew if I rejected her no company will give her the placement. This is the power of being in top 10 company of India.
Soon the break ended and we were in the hall. Me along with other businessmen were standing on the stage. Being the powerful men I was the first one to announce the person for our company. Standing there I saw ashi standing being nervous with her friends.
Soon I started my speech,"You all did well but not everyone can be selected in one company so the one we chose is Karan Verma. And I have a piece of advice for ms Ashi sharma you may top the college but you are not capable of handling a company. Scoring good marks does not means that you can be good in every thing else too." I looked towards ashi to see her crying and with this she ran outside the hall with her friends behind her. Everyone looked shocked but no one dared to question me. With this the other announced their results and this was over.
Karan Verma was good but not better than ashi. And the things I said were bullshit but still I didn't want to get things easy for her.
Soon I left for my office and engrossed myself in the work. Finally I finished my work and checked the time it was already 8 I decided to call off the day and with this I went home.
As soon as I entered the house I went to my room after taking a shower I changed into sweatpants and tshirt. Descending the stairs I went to the dining area for dinner where everyone were present waiting for me. My mom made the rule to have dinner together. My eyes fall on her who looked pale with her eyes red and smiling at the talks they were talking. I knew she was fake smiling for them. But her eyes said everything. I don't know why but my heart clenched thinking about she cried but why? Wasn't I the want who wanted her cry every minute. With this I completed my dinner and went to my room.
Yesterday with her I slept peacefully after many years. Entering in my room I saw the room empty but the balcony door was open and there she was sitting. She had arranged a bed in the balcony with Swing and a table with books kept on it.

It was cute and cozy. our balcony was big enough to fit everything. I went near her and asked " what are you doing here and why have you arranged everything come inside and sleep it is cold outside." " Actually I had an interview today where I was told that I am not capable of handling a company so I want to work hard and prove him wrong." With this she turned around and sat on the bed. Wow now this little butterfly will taunt me.
With this I went inside but as usual I couldn't sleep.
