4. Just Friends.

Her eyes widen as she understood what he meant.

"Poor girl, must be so hurt" she says sadly.

"And you know who showed her?"

"Me!" Siddharth cried holding onto his mother hand which were caressing his cheeks delicately.

"Maa, i regret it so bad! If only i didn't showed her Zayn's reality she might be happy right now! She wasn't just hurt Maa she was broken too" Siddharth says as he looked at his mother with teary eyes filled with regret and oh so deep sadness like he's the one who got his heart broken instead of Avneet but it was partially true as his heart is in deep pain after seeing his baby like this.

"Did i do wrong, Maa? Was I selfish to do this?" Siddharth asked weakly to his mother with his insecure eyes and broken voice.

Mrs. Nigam  instantly shake her head as he spoke. "No baby you did nothing wrong. It was now or some other time after but still one day muskan has to find it no matter what. So you did nothing wrong by saving her a bit earlier from having deep heartbreak than it is now" she says softly, removing his hair out of his forehead and kissed it lovingly.

"My baby, everything will be okay. Don't worry" she console her crying son and pull him in her warm motherly embrace.

"She looked so broken Maa, it hurts me to see her like this. I can't see tears in her eyes Maa. I am so weak against it!" Siddharth complaints.

"I-I am so weak for her, my heart is so weak when it sees her so s-sad and hurt"

Siddharth muttered crying loudly, letting out all of his pain in his mothers arms.

"I know darling, I know" she kissed his head patting it comfortingly to calm him.

"But you're there to pick her up hm? So don't worry. Let the time heal her"

He's always like this. Whenever Avneet is hurt or in pain because of anyone he would come and cry in his mothers arms because he feels helpless when he can't help Avneet in any way to mend her broken heart.

The boy is deeply in love with Avneet to even feel her pain in his heart so sharply, it almost like he's connected to her.

Siddharth lays on his mother's lap, placing his head there as she rubbed her bony fingers to his hair to comfort him into peaceful slumber after the exhausting day.

She look down at her son's peaceful sleeping face with her sad eyes.

"My poor baby. When will your misery ends?"

The poor boy suffering for many years and still there seems to be no end to it.

She has to see him like this always, whenever Siddharth feels like he couldn't handle the ache in his heart anymore or he feels so sad to can't be able to have what he wants he will come to her and cry his eyes out in her lap until he feels light and he always did.

He always feels contented after he let it all out in his precious mother's arms.

Siddharth from that day went to Avneet's house daily to atleast talk to her and comfort her but even after two weeks of her break up Avneet feels like she couldn't handle the burning pain in her heart.

Siddharth always comforts her and she feels a bit okay but still the wounds were still as fresh as it happen like yesterday.
