"You look fresh" Siddharth commented as he picked his tie when he saw Avneet beaming.

The latter came closer and smile. "I am happy too"

Avneet took the tie from Siddharth's hand. "Let me do it for you" she offered.

Siddharth raised an eyebrow when Avneet came forward and pulled the tie over his neck.

"Why so generous today, if I may ask?" Siddharth says while placing his hands on Avneet's lower waist.

"It's because I am happy" Avneet grinned.

"And the reason of your happiness?"

"You want to know?" Avneet ask as she glance at Siddharth while knotting the tie.

Siddharth nodded.

"It's because of you" she smiled.

"Me? I am honoured to know but what did I do?" Siddharth asked confusingly.

"Nothing special, just the usual..." Avneet tighten the tie and settled Siddharth's collar.

"Being the most perfect husband" Avneet said and smile softly when she was done.

She turned back to go away when Siddharth grabbed her wrist. "But what did i do this time for you to be all smiley in the morning?"

Avneet leaned forward to him and says happily. "I am fresh and happy is because i have you to always care for me, just like you did last night. That's the best sleep i had in awhile and on top of it all, no
nightmares"

Siddharth chuckled and caressed her cheek. "I am happy for you"

"Ofcourse you are, when you're not?" Avneet giggled and placed her hand on Siddharth's which were still caressing her cheek.

"Now let's go. I am hungry" she whine rubbing her tummy.

Siddharth rolled his eyes and grabbed his coat. "When you're not hungry?"

Avneet winked. "Never"

Siddharth chuckled and wrapped his arm around Avneet's shoulder and they went downstairs for the breakfast together.

"Sir, this is your today's schedule" Ms. Fernandes, Siddharth's secretery entered with a notebook in hand.

Siddharth nodded. "Speak up"

"This is the files you had to read and needs your approvement, these files needs your signatures, these one are the finance you wanted me to copy paste and lastly you had a meeting in half an hour" Ms. Fernandes stated everything while pointing at the pile of files at the desk.

Siddharth hummed and nodded while opening some of the files to check when he noticed an fancy envelope.

"What is this?" He asked.

"This is the invitation from Mr. Malhotra residency, they are celebrating their son's achievements who just became a CEO of their company" Ms. Fernandes informed.

"But why it's here. It's dad who always attend these parties"

Siddharth asked confusingly.

"I don't know. Mr. Nigam told me to gave this to you" Siddharth sighed and nodded.

"Alrigh thanks, you can go now" The secretery bowed slightly and left.

Siddharth looked at the invitation card and frowned that's when he got the call from his intercom.
