9. Heal me

(guys for the wedding I'll be writing in the church wedding form cause you know it's easier to write. Writing an Indian marriage will take lots of time and effort. If anyone has an objection then I truly apologize. )

Two weeks went by like the wind and the day of the wedding came. Siddharth stood at the altar with a big responsibility in his heart and a high confidence in making his Love happy.

The wedding was simple but elegant, not many people were invited only the close and important ones were there.

Avneet walking with her father to the altar, her eyes were swollen and had deep bags under them, she had lost weight from the day she had broken up with her ex and her face was blank and void of any emotion.

She can be replaced as the beautiful broken doll.

The vows were spoken, the rings were exchanged and the signatures were done on the marriage paper, the final declaration of bonded to each other forever, in every situation was spoken by the priest and Siddharth was told to kiss the bride to seal the marriage, and he went closer to the unflinching women who has no emotions in her eyes as she blankly looks at him like she was tired fighting for the love,
happiness, peace, affection and attention she was so tired of everything and has accepted her fate.

Her cruel and heartless fate.

Siddharth cupped the smooth cheeks of his broken baby and instead of kissing her on the lips which everyone was expecting, he chose to lean forward and delicately kiss her forehead with such a feather-like touch that it made Avneet flutter her eyes shut in the process.

The kiss of many unspoken promises and the assurance of happiness and a new beginning.

The new and positive chapter of life where there will be no pain, no sadness, no tears, only the undying love and its soft touches and sweet feelings.

The Happy life which Siddharth vowed to give his wife, his Avni, his baby.

The marriage went smoothly after that and Avneet didn't speak to anyone, she was lost in her thoughts.

Siddharth smiled as he stared at her with so much love in his eyes for the woman that he just wanted to grab her in his arms and smooth her face with sweet kisses that could take all of her sadness.

But he has to wait which seems to be impossible now that he already has his Love with his last name and is right by his side.

His Avneet Nigam...

Avneet hugged Reem who was muttering sweet nothings to her ear as she patted her head softly.

"Everything will be fine hm"

Avneet buried her face in her neck and silently cried.

"Reem leave us alone for a while," Veer says as he comes into view and the latter nods and detaches herself from the younger and leaves.

Avneet didn't look up when Mr. Nandra stood right in front of her.

The elder sighed as he pushed his daughter's head into his chest and patted her back.

"I'm sorry for everything, Avi. I know you're upset and you should be for how I treated you after your mother's death, i was selfish and ignorant and I know it but forgive me that I realize it way too late. I promise your mother to always look after you and love you but I broke it and no one knows how shameful and guilty I am but I can't change the past."

Avneet stays silent as she listens to her father as tears keep leaving her eyes.

"I married you with Siddharth because I know he will make you so happy. I trust him, he respects you a lot and we all saw it on the altar today. He understands you more than anything and I am not just saying it because he's your husband now he genuinely cares for you."
