A/N: I want to apologize for not updating for the last two weeks. I'm in my last year of high school and have started preparations for college. Therefore I've been trapped with studying. I'm sorry again. Enjoy.

Warnings: nightmare, blood and talk of snakes

Callisto twisted in her bed for the past hour. A nightmare woke her up and she wasn't able to fall back asleep. She was clutching her stuffed dog, Padfoot, to her chest as she heaved another frustrated sigh.

On top of nightmare, she couldn't stop thinking about Trelawney and her prediction. As much as she found it stupid, the possibility of dying infected her mind. If Trelawney had no gift what so ever, Dumbledore wouldn't give her a job. But it was hard to tell true prediction from her dramatic stories.

Those thoughts nagged her since the class two weeks ago. She spent whole Easter holiday circling back to that. She just wanted to bury herself in her bed and not leave for the next couple of days.

Usually, Celeste would be right beside her whenever she woke up from a bad dream. But for the past few weeks her cat was wandering off somewhere more often than not. Callisto trusted her to come back, but until now she had no idea Celeste was disappearing in the middle of the night.

An orb of light illuminated her bed as she laid awake, studying Padfoot. It was almost laughable how similar he looked to what Trelawney described the Grim as. Callisto traced dedication on the back of a collar and smiled sadly. All she had left of her uncle were stories and that toy. It pained her at times that she would never really know Regulus. And that he only lives on in Dobby's stories.

After another ten minutes, Callisto had enough of useless attempts of falling asleep. She slithered out of bed and nearly got a heart attack when she saw grindylow's face pressed against the window glass. Seeing things like that in the middle of the night is something neither Callisto nor Daphne got used to. Even after years of sleeping in the dorm under the lake.

Callisto put on her bathrobe and coat, coming to conclusion that a walk outside would do her good. She soundlessly sneaked out of her room, mindful of Daphne's sleeping state. The dead of night only adds to the creepiness of the dorm halls. Their only sources of light were dimly lit torches.

"What the fuck are you doing here?" A voice asked from the seemingly empty common room as Callisto climbed the stairs.

She cursed quietly and shot Graham a glare. "I could ask you the same. What's the reason for seating in nearly dark common room at ungodly hours of night?"

Just as she finished the sentence, Cassius sat up on the couch opposite of Graham. Callisto wasn't able to see him before as she faced the back of said couch. "What's the matter?" He asked.

"Where the hell are you guys spawning out from? Are Landon and Adrian somewhere here too?"

"No. We fell asleep here accidentally." Cassius made up a half assed lie that made Graham slap his own forehead.

"Never lie while you're half asleep, you'd get yourself into Salazar knows what type of shit." Callisto deadpanned.

"I forgot we left common room at the same time." Cassius face palmed.

"We can also ask what are you doing awake at this time, too?" Graham turned the conversation around.

"Going for a walk."

"Where?"

"Outside."

"Are you out of your mind?" Cassius looked at her as if she has grown two heads.

"I'm going to get fresh air and you two can either come with or stay here bitch about me never listening to you." Callisto put an end to conversation and walked towards the common room door.
