Chapter 22

*So Sorry If This Seems A Bit Shorter! I started writing this at 1am on a school night.. Sorry!*

*come on, come on!* Heath thought as he stared at the clock waiting for the bell to scream, he promised Abbey he would go to her dorm after class to study together, all he wanted was to see his Ice queen.

*SCREAM*

Heath stood up so fast little fire balls flew from his hair

Heath: Finally!

he looked around and saw a small fire and everyone glaring at him

Heath: sorry...

AT ABBEY'S DORM

Heath knocked and Abbey answered she smiled seeing her boo-friend and hugged him

Abbey: Heath! I thought you forgot!

Heath: yeah, sorry about that! I caused a little fire in Clawculus class and got detention.. again...

Abbey: don't worry about it, I know you'd never flake out on me, now should we get to studying?

Heath grabbed a book and opened it, he and Abbey cuddled in her bed while reading and writing stuff down, but they soon got distracted with each other and began flirting and tossed the books aside and got covered up. Heath noticed Abbey look down for a second

Heath: Abbey? are you okay?

Abbey: no, can I tell you something?

Heath: sure, whatever it is, I won't make fun of you

her expression drooped a bit more

Abbey: it's just, ever since I came here I feel.. out of place. don't get me wrong you and the rest of the Boo Crew treats me right, but other students, mainly Gunner, makes me feel out of place since I'm the only Yeti he calls me dangerous and always causes trouble

Heath: Abbey not one thing that comes out of that zombie's mouth is even close to being true! you shouldn't have to feel weird or out of place just because you're the only Yeti, I mean Frankie's the only Franken-monster and they don't listen to any bullies and always stand up for themselves. and you got me! I won't allow him to treat my Ice queen like this!

Abbey couldn't help but smile at his words, no matter what she knows he will always be by her side until the end. suddenly Heath got up and she followed confused

Heath: come here *goes to the window* I want to show you something

Abbey followed and held his warm hand as he pointed to the sky, she gasped in beauty at what she saw. she was looking at the northern lights happening, the sky looked green, yellow and pink and it was breath taking

Heath: pretty huh?

Abbey: you have no idea.. even when I lived in the mountains my mom was so over-protective I never saw this before, I never seen anything this beautiful before...

Heath: you know, you'd blend into that..

Abbey: really? how so? is it because you think Yeti's ice powers can do this?

Heath: yeah... and because you're the most precious thing I see

Abbey: stop it Heath! *blush* you're making me blush!

Heath and Abbey laugh for a bit before Heath stares into her dark brown eyes again

Heath: well... all jokes aside I do really mean that...

Abbey took his hand and held it

Abbey: thank you Heath... I guess after all the mean things Gunner has been saying ever since he transferred here... I honestly started believing those things, that other monsters were dangerous around me, but at that picnic and when you said you loved me... I realized Gunner was wrong, just because I'm a Yeti, doesn't mean I'm a danger, I'm just a kid like him... like you

Heath: is all that true Abbey?

Abbey: every word Heath

Heath smiled as Abbey saw a sparkle in his eye, he pulled her into a side hug, since Heath felt warm and Abbey felt cold, them hugging felt weirdly comfortable

Heath: I know I'm not good with feelings, but I'm glad I met you my ice queen, you make me feel special Abbey, I'm glad I could do the same for you

Abbey kissed Heath as her head rested on his, they continued to watch the lights going on and heard a bunch of kids outside also amazed by the lights but they didn't pay attention to them, all they cared about was holding on to each other. until they heard a knock at the door, Abbey went and opened it and saw Draculaura and Lagoona

Draculaura: hey Abbey Lagoona, Clawdeen and I were going to have a Spa Day! do you want to join

Abbey was about to say yes but looked back at  Heath and saw he looked disappointed. she looked back at her friends and said

Abbey: only if Heath joins us, he loves brushing my hair

Heath: really?

Abbey: Yeah! only if it's okay with you two

Draculaura: uh, sure! we don't mind and I'm sure Clawdeen won't mind

Abbey: Great! come on!

Heath rushed over and held Abbey's hand as they followed Draculaura and Lagoona. the whole time they just stared at each other smiling, knowing that they would be together for the rest of  eternity
