Lawrence and another worker teleported to the basement and threw Operetta in the cage Venus and Jinafire were in but Lawrence kept Toralei

Lawrence: please, she's my daughter....

Toralei: I'd Rather Be In A Cage With Strangers Then With You!

Lawrence just sighed and grabbed his daughter's paw and led her up the stairs. meanwhile Clawd looked at Operetta

Clawd: welcome to being trapped...

Operetta smirked

Operetta: want the good news or the great news?

Selena: uh... good news?

Operetta: does this Clawdeen Wolf belong to any of you?

Apollo: Clawdeen?!

Clawd: That's My Sister!

Operetta: well she's on her way with her vampire friend and Frankenstein friend

Venus: what's the great news?

Operetta's hands had a purple aura surround them

Operetta: you all good at being sneaky?

MEANWHILE

Lawrence led Toralei to a room. it looked like an office it had a desk in the middle of the room and a huge window, it had pictures of Mr Fright everywhere with a notebook on the desk, Toralei was about to grab it but her father grabbed it and put it in one of the drawers

Lawrence: That's uh... that's Mr Fright's notebook

Toralei: you mean the vampire who wants my friend? and kidnapped my friends family?

Lawrence: He's Doing This For A Reason Toralei! And I Had To Help Him!

Toralei: WHY!?

Lawrence: SO I COULD SEE YOU AGAIN!

Toralei paused and sat down on a chair 

Lawrence: Mr Fright said If I didn't help him... I would never see you again...

Toralei: So Now You Care For Me!

Lawrence: w-what?

Toralei: *tears* YOU LEFT WHEN I WAS THREE! AND HAD TO LIVE WITH AN ABUSIVE MOTHER FOR THE PAST 12 YEARS! SHE HITS ME AND TRAPPED MY BEST FRIEND'S MUM IN ANOTHER DIMENSION JUST SO SHE COULD BECOME THE RULER! BUT I'M MORE MAD AT YOU!

Lawrence: After All Catarina Did Your More Mad At Me!?

Toralei: YES! FOR THE PAST 12 YEARS I KEPT TELLING MYSELF THAT YOU WOULD COME BACK! WHENEVER MUM MADE ME ENTER A CONTEST OR THE SPELLING BEE, I HOPE YOU WOULD COME! IT CAME TO THE POINT THAT I CRIED WHENEVER YOU DIDN'T SHOW UP! ONE TIME IN THIRD GRADE I WAS PICKED ON FOR CRYING DURING THE SCIENCE FAIR SINCE MY DAD WASN'T THERE!

Lawrence hid his tears, he couldn't let his daughter see him weak after reuniting after 12 years

Toralei: nothing to say? You're really that pathetic!

Lawrence wiped a tear that rolled down his cheek

Toralei: I waited for you dad... I-I believed that you still loved me, but maybe for once mum wasn't lying... maybe you do care more about work

Lawrence got up from his seat and walked to Toralei and wiped her tears away, Toralei grabbed his paw tightly

Lawrence: Toralei... I- I should've done more to try and contact you, To try and be there for you. I was a coward to hide out here and pretend I never had a wife or a daughter. but I do think of you all the time, and... and you're so beautiful, you've grown into a beautiful young were-cat, and I'm so proud of you Toralei. I promise if I could go back in time to when you were still that agorable toddler, I would! but you can't change the past...

Lawrence then cupped Toralei's cheek with his paw

Lawrence: I messed up big time, but I do want to be there for you now... I mean if you want your old man back in your life?

Toralei's shoulders tensed as she tried to swallow her feelings down as tears kept running down her face

Toralei: I-I do... I want my dad back... I don't want to live with my mum, she hits me...

Lawrence: well I promise when we go back I will divorce that were-cat and we will find a new home together

Toralei: really? I-I won't be a hindrance to you?

Lawrence: my little kitty could never be a hindrance to me, you were never a burden to me, you are not stupid or annoying... y-your my special little kitty

he mustered a shaky smile and managed to stroke Toralei's hair slowly

Lawrence: and you're the most important person to me

Toralei's lip quivered as it was hard for her to breathe, yet she still tried to swallow the lump in her throat. but when Lawrence back away and held his arms out for her, Toralei tackled her father into a hug

Toralei: I MISSED YOU DAD!

Lawrence lets himself fall onto the ground and lets Toralei curl up in his lap and choke him in a hug. he hugged her back letting his own tears out

Lawrence: I've missed you too, Toralei...
