it's been a long night of exams, studying, homework and all that school stress. but now the night was over and the sun was rising and that meant for monsters time for them to go to bed. the only one still up was Cleo who was reading a romantic novel Lagoona gave her, she had to admit it was a cute story.
Cleo: I have to thank Lagoona for this, maybe romantic novels are more my speed. hopefully Boneo and Skulliet (monster versions of Romeo and Juliet) get together
Cleo checks her Icoffin and sees it says 11pm
Cleo: well I'll have to find out tomorrow, I need my beauty sleep
she bookmarked the page and set it on her nightstand, she flipped her lamp off and snuggled under the covers
Cleo: *yawn* sleep sounds great...
Frankie: It Sure Does!
Cleo: AH!
Cleo turned her lamp back on to see who said that and she was faced by her ghoulfriend who looked a bit afraid
Cleo: Frankie! You Almost Gave Me A Heart Attack!
Frankie: but your heart is in a jar
Cleo: My Point Still Stands! now I love you but... What In The Underworld Are You Doing In My Dorm? I Locked The Door 30 Minutes Ago!
Frankie: well I used one of my hair pins to pick the lock, it was actually pretty easy, I'm surprised you didn't hear me
Cleo: And What Are You Wearing?
Frankie: my outfit?
Cleo: Your Everyday Outfit! Where Are Your Pajama's?!
Frankie: I only get into those for Creepovers, besides I wash these why can't I sleep in them?
Cleo groaned, that wasn't what was important, what was important was how Frankie sneaked into her dorm without her noticing
Cleo: Okay Back To The Problem, I Don't Remember Inviting You Here! your my ghoulfriend yes but you have to see how creepy that is! to sneak in here!
Frankie felt bad and rubbed the back of their neck
Frankie: sorry Cleo... I just had a bad day and I wanted cuddles
Cleo pinched her nose, she thought about telling Frankie to go back to her dorm since they had Clawdeen and Draculaura with them, but then again Frankie was pretty sensitive and she hasn't seen them all night, and Frankie did look upset even scared a bit, besides Cleo didn't want to send Frankie away
Cleo: fine.. You're lucky I love you. and extra lucky I have a queen sized bed, this bed is big enough to fit 5 people, now cover up. but next time please ask
Frankie: *nervous laugh* sure thing babe
Frankie hopped in Cleo's bed and got under the covers
Frankie: your bed is really warm and soft...
Cleo: of course, helps me sleep through the day, now go to sleep
Cleo turned over and closed her eyes and started to drift off, the fact that Frankie didn't respond made her think they already drifted off but then she felt something brush up against her
*what's that?*
curious she looked over her shoulder and saw Frankie up against her
Cleo: Frankie? you have room on your side!
Frankie: but I'm cold!
Cleo: Are The Blankets Not Enough?
Frankie: not really and I said I wanted cuddles! and we're dating, it's not weird... is it?
Cleo groaned and faced the ceiling, yeah they were dating but they never slept together before, Cleo was still new at being in a relationship, she was okay with kissing and hugging but sleeping together? she knew she would have to get used to Frankie invading her personal bubble. Frankie took Cleo's silence as a warning not to bother her
Frankie: O-okay... I'll move over, sorry Cleo, I didn't know this was weird for you...
Cleo: hold on Frankie...
Cleo took Frankie's hand before they could move back where they once were, Frankie turned to face their ghoulfriend, Cleo could see some sparks in Frankie's eyes
*I really upset them...*
Cleo: I'm sorry I've been snapping at you, I'm just pretty tired. I'll let you snuggled up with me, I don't mind my love
Frankie: you don't?
Cleo: of course not, we're dating we... need to get used to this
Frankie smiled and snuggled closer to Cleo and tugged her closer
Frankie: I knew you'd change your mind
Cleo was a bit uncomfortable since she was so used to having her bed to herself but had to admit this was nice
*I guess this isn't so bad after all*
Cleo kissed Frankie's head and held them close to her chest and she soon found her self comfortable with Frankie basically laying on her. Frankie nuzzled their cheek against Cleo's
Cleo: you comfy?
Frankie: M-Hm... fright babe
Cleo: fright my love
Frankie: I love you...
Cleo smiled as she watched Frankie drift off, but before she could drift off she heard a knock at the door
* Come On! Can't A Ghoul Sleep In Peace!? knowing my luck next time my room will be filled with scarabs...*
Cleo gently laid Frankie down and went to open the door, she saw Draculaura and Clawdeen standing there with guilty looks on their faces
Clawdeen: hey Cleo, is Frankie in here?
Cleo: yeah, they snuck in without me noticing, why?
Draculaura: well we ha- Wait! Snuck In?
Cleo: long story
Clawdeen: Anyway, we had a fight in the dorm. me and Draculaura wanted to do our own things and Frankie kept bothering us and we snapped and may have said some hurtful things, we wanted to apologize
Cleo: well you can do that tomorrow, Frankie's sleeping with me right now
Clawdeen and Draculaura peered over Cleo's shoulder and saw Frankie fast asleep on her bed. they smiled at this and looked back at Cleo
Draculaura: well if they wake up just tell them to come back to the dorm
Cleo: will do Draculaura. fright ghouls
Cleo watched them walk away and she shut the door, she climbed back into bed and snuggled closer to Frankie and rested her head on their chest. Cleo felt Frankie wrap a arm around her, she chuckled at this and held Frankie tighter, soon she drifted off while knowing Frankie would always be with her
