Thoughts

I am done training with Hidan, so I left the training room.

I went down the hall and back to my room. When I got in my room I sat down on my bed.

Man, when I joined the Akatsuki I left my whole life behind. Not like it even matters anyways, not a lot of people would have missed me. I thought as I looked at the glass tank and Kurage.

I miss Maguma, he was probably my only friend. I thought as I lied down on my bed.

I remember the day I got him like yesterday.

*** flashback ***

"Hanshu, come here please!" I hear my mom call from the living room.

"Coming!" I shouted as I ran to the living room.

In the living room was a small box with a blacket covering it. My moms snake, Hakari was sitting next to my mom. My dads alligator, Tafuna was sitting next to my dad.

"Hanshu, it is a clan tradition that when a member turns five they get their reptile partner. Hanshu today is your fifth birthday, so today you get your reptile partner. Every reptile our clan has was born in the Ryuza section of the desert, where they are raised around humans. So when they are given away to us they are not afraid of humans. Each reptile has a different ability, to match the ability of its handler. So Hanshu are you ready to meet your reptile?" My dad explained

"Yes!" I shouted as I am excited about meeting my reptile.

My mom took off the blanket on the cage, and I saw my little friend. I looked in the cage and saw a little black dragon with red markings.

"Is it a boy or a girl?" I asked my parents

"He is a boy" my mom replied

"I'll name him....... Maguma! Because he looks like cooling down magma from a volcano."

"Thank you mom and dad! Now I have a friend!" I shouted to my mom and dad and then embraced them in a hug.

"I love you." I whispered in their ears.

I was still just a kid. I didn't know how harsh this world was yet. Being a jinchuuriki and a member of a feared clan, is the worst. It did get better when Gaara became Kazekage, but it still was bad. I really hope Gaara is taking good care of Maguma, and the village I would sacrifice myself for. I just wish I could of made friends there. I think as I look around my room and see how bare my walls are.
