On the road again

I woke up today, bright and early. As I looked around my room and tried to remembered why today was so important. My eyes then landed in my packed scroll. Oh yeah!

Then it hit me like a train!

Today is the day I go to Suna! I thought as I snapped myself awake.

How will I react to it again?

I hear my stomach growl, I am hungry.

Ichiraku Ramen's for breakfast! H*** yeah!

I grab my scroll and packed it in my bag and left my apartment.

*** At Ichiraku ***

"Morning Ayame!" I say cheerfully and she blushes.

"Morning Semasu." She said back as she tried not to look at me in my eyes.

"What are you doing here so early?" Ayame asked.

"I am going to Suna for the Chunin Exams. I am going to be a proctor!" I said excitedly.

"Aren't you a bit young to be a proctor?" She asked.

"I have the skills needed. In the ninja world, age doesn't matter when you have skill." I said as I smiled at her. And then her face went red again. What is wrong with her?

"So I came here for breakfast." I said giving her another smile and she got even redder. What is she? Is she a tomato? Oh my! Is she crushing on me?!?!

"Do you want your regular?" She finally asked after the red began to faint from her face.

"Yes please." I say.

Ayame goes into the back to tell her dad the order.

She's crushing on you Hanshu. Isobu and Matatabi said at the same time.

What do I do? I ask, for I have never been crushed on.

Ask her. Isobu said simply.

What are you saying, your going to get him killed if he does that! What were you thinking, Isobu!?!? Matatabi yelled in my head.

Hanshu, when you come back ask her on a date. Simple. But just don't confront her on it, you have to make it smooth. Don't make yourself look desperate but still make yourself desirable. She will fall for you like rain for a pond. Matatabi said.
