"Let's go, are you ready?" Kakashi asks as I grab my scroll and place it in my backpack.

"Yes I am." I say as I walk to Kakashi.

"Well then let's go." He says as he goes through the door.

I walked through the door and closed it behind me.

Kakashi walks to the gates with me following him.

"On the way back to the village can I practice the Rasengan?" I ask.

"Yeah. I brought the stuff for it." He replies as I quicken my pace to walk next to him.

"Great."

When we get to the gate Kinoma, Sashu, Baki, Temari, and Gaara are waiting for us.

"Hello Kakashi, Semasu, we came to say goodbye to you." Gaara said and I nod.

"Thank you Kazekage." I say and I notice Kinoma and Sashu.

They are both wearing chunin vests!

"Ahh, so I see that you both ranked up. Congrats." I say cooly and they both nod.

"Yeah Semasu!" They both shout happily.

We briefly talk about the success of the exams and then we went to leave.

"It was a honor Gaara." I say and I leave the village.

Kakashi and I walk a while and then we stop for a break. He grabs a rubber ball and tosses it to me.

"Thanks." I say and I put my chakra into it.

*** 15 mins later ***

Come on! I think as the ball pokes out the sides rapidly.

Pop!

My eyes widen as I now no longer have a rubber ball in my hands.

I look over to Kakashi and he nods.

"Do it again until you get a hang of it." He says and I do as he says.

I grab another rubber ball and pour my chakra into it again.

Now that I know what I am doing, I can do it faster.

A few minutes later the rubber ball pops again.

"Now that you have gotten the hang of the second step we can continue on our trip. We can practice at our next break." Kakashi days as he grabs his stuff.

I picked up my backpack and followed Kakashi.

"Let's pick up the pace." I say and I start to sprint.

"Sure." Kakashi replies as he matches my pace.

We keep sprinting until we are well into the land of fire and we stop to take a break. Its been about 4-5 hours of straight up running.

We stopped and ate some of the food we packed until I felt a presence among us.

I stop mid bite and looked around.

Kakashi notices me looking around.

"What is it Semasu?" He asks as he also looks around.

"Who's there?" I ask loudly.

"You are such a good ninja, you feel a presence and you ask who is there." Kakashi says sarcastically.

A few minutes later the bushes to my 2 o'clock and Kakashi's 10 o'clock start moving and a small/medium sized black and white wolf comes out. The looks to be about a year old, if that.
