This one is short, but I've been working on another one all day that isn't finished yet and it's very long. Maybe a present for tomorrow!

"Hey, why don't you take a walk, you're getting on my nerves," you said to Taylor as she had been bugging you for the last hour. You were just trying to finish the Christmas sweater you were knitting... for her nonetheless...

"Ouch," she mocked being offended "Who are you even making that for?" she asked just like she had been since you started making it.

"That's none of your business," you replied, your attention on the sweater.

"I'm your girlfriend of course it's my business," she snapped playfully,

You glanced up from your knitting, a mischievous smile playing on your lips. "It's for my other much less annoying girlfriend who doesn't ask me one thousand questions about what I'm doing,"

Taylor raised an eyebrow, her playful demeanour shifting into mock offence. "Oh, so I'm the annoying one now?"

You chuckled, setting the knitting needles down for a moment to look at Taylor. "Only when I'm trying to concentrate on my masterpiece here," you teased, gesturing towards the half-finished Christmas sweater.

Taylor crossed her arms, feigning hurt. "I thought you loved my inquisitive nature."

"I do, just not when I'm in the middle of a creative process," you explained, reaching out to pull her into a quick hug. "But you know I adore you, annoying questions and all."

She smirked, leaning in to give you a quick peck on the cheek. "I'll let you finish your mysterious project in peace, then."

"Thank you," you said with a grin, watching as she playfully made her way out of the room. Once she was gone, you returned to your knitting, chuckling to yourself at the playful banter that always seemed to accompany your creative endeavours.

She returned just shy of an hour later with bags of holiday decorations. "I thought we could make this place even cosier," Taylor announced, holding up a string of twinkling lights and a handful of festive ornaments.

You couldn't help but smile at her enthusiasm, despite the interruption. "Alright, let's make this a team effort. I finish the sweater, and you work your magic with the decorations."

Taylor grinned, clearly pleased with the compromise. "Deal. But I still want to know who that mysterious less annoying girlfriend is."

You laughed, shaking your head. "You're relentless, you know that?"

"That's why you love me," she replied with a wink.

The two of you now worked on your own projects for hours, only pausing for lunch.

Taylor finished much earlier than you. You took a break to see her decorations. Twinkling lights adorned every corner, and ornaments dangled from various surfaces. The air was filled with the scent of pine as she strategically placed a small Christmas tree in the room.

"It's beautiful, Tay," you complimented, genuinely impressed by her Christmas creativity.

Taylor grinned, her eyes sparkling with pride. "I wanted it to be special for us. After all, it's our first Christmas together." You hugged her for a moment taking it all in.

"It's perfect, you did amazing," you said, holding her close.

"Thank you, now do you need help with that mysterious sweater of yours?"

"Well you can't exactly help me, but you can come sit with me and keep me company as long as you don't keep asking one million questions about it,"

Taylor chuckled, raising her hands in surrender. "Deal. I promise, no more questions about the mysterious sweater. I'll just be your silent, supportive companion, who sits in your lap because I miss my girlfriend."

You laughed, delighted by Taylor's playfulness, and gladly welcomed her into your lap. The two of you shared a comfortable moment amidst the festive decorations, Taylor contentedly settled in your arms as you resumed your knitting.

With the twinkling lights casting a warm glow around you, the room felt cozy and filled with holiday cheer. The only sounds were the soft clicks of your knitting needles and the occasional rustle of Taylor adjusting herself.

As you continued working on the Christmas sweater, Taylor remained true to her word, staying silent and simply enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. She occasionally glanced over, offering a supportive smile or stealing a quick kiss, making the quiet companionship even more special.

Soon you finished the sweater, and placed it over Taylors head and onto her body.

"It fits perfectly," you said clapping your hands in delight.

"So I am the less annoying girlfriend, the other one must be hard work," she said with a playful smile.

"Oh she is, but I would't trade her for the world," You said kissing her sweetly.
