You and Gracie had been friends for a very long time, she and you went to high school together, and ever since you've been best friends.

Gracie was the reason you found Taylor, just after her break up with Joe, Gracie had been invited to one of Taylor's Parties and brought you along as a plus one. You had been a fan of Taylor's for as long as you could remember, you and Gracie both shared that fangirl phase over Taylor. Hence you were already very much in love with Taylor, for her it was love at first sight.

As soon as you walked in with your arm hooked around Gracie's, Taylor was captivated. That whole night she pretty much stuck to your side unless there was something she had to do as hostess, however she dragged you along for that too.

That might the two of you drunkenly ended up in the same bed, and despite establishing the undeniable passion between the two of you that night, Taylor admitted she's never felt that way for anyone until now, with you and from that your relationship flourished into what it is now.

Almost two years later.

You and Taylor were very in love, inseparable from each other. If Taylor had to go somewhere, you were there, if you had to be somewhere, Taylor was there.

This week though you had been busy a fair bit as you had been visiting Gracie, she had gone through a bad break up. So of course as your best friend you stayed with her for a while making sure she was okay.

The first day you honestly didn't realise just how bad this breakup had been on Gracie, you didn't actually realise just how in love with this man she was. So you called Taylor later that night while you made some dinner for Gracie and yourself.

"Hey baby," You said as she answered the phone.

"Hiiii!" she replied , you could hear the smile on her face.

"How are you?" You asked while stirring the vegetables in the pan.

"I'm good. Just missing you a lot," Taylor said with a hint of sadness, you had been out all day after all and the both of you loved holding each other, although a lot of the time it was Taylor in your arms as you felt an overwhelming need to protect her, there were very many occasions when it worked the opposite way too. "How's Gracie?" she asked.

"Baby, you're really gonna hate me!"  you chuckled softly after hearing how badly she already missed you.

"Why what happened?" Taylor asked and that smile you could hear in her voice had disappeared.

"Well, uh Gracie is really not doing well tonight and I promised I'd stay here the night," you explained quietly, feeling a pang of guilt for not being by Taylor's side, "but I'll be home in the morning, I promise!" in an assuring tone.

"That's okay, I know Gracie needs you right now," she replied calmly. "Can I facetime you though?" she asked, a hint of shyness creeping into her voice.

"Of course baby! You don't even have to ask!" you reassured her, changing the call over to a facetime call. You were then met with Taylor's beautiful smile as she laid on the couch no doubt watching friends or greys, and in one of your hoodies. "You look beautiful, my sweet." you complimented, causing her to blush and hide her face slightly in your hoodie.

"Thank you," she mumbled with a gorgeous smile. "What're you makin'" she asked her face still slightly hidden in the hoodie.

"I'll be honest, no idea, a concoction of what I found in Gracie's pantry," you said showing her the mix of vegetables you had thrown into the pan with sauces and spices.
