What a flop of a man he is.

The reason your sweet Tay laid in your arms currently sobbing her heart out. And if it wasn't for her you'd be at his door right now, showing this man what he truly deserves.

You were on the couch of your shared home, it was a normal evening. The two of you were lazing around, watching tv. You prepared some dinner which was still in the oven probably burning, because it was the least of your worries right now.

You were watching Friends, but Taylor was getting quite restless after seeing the show so many times so she opened her phone and started mindlessly scrolling through. It wasn't until she opened twitter that she sat up and gasped.

At first you weren't really paying attention to her and thought maybe she had found a cute cat video, but when you looked at her you realised the look on her face indicated that this was far worse and not cute at all.

"What is it, sweet?" you asked softly,
sitting up with her. Rather than replying she handed you her phone. It was open to the trending tags page.

You glanced at her, but she was looking far into the distance. You felt horrible, your sweet Tay could not catch a break. Between the release of Kanye's new song as well as speculations of her dating men and them causing a scene because they can, and now this, whatever this was.

You researched a little bit further and found that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had started this, and not only was the hashtag trending but she was also being referred to as a snake, it was national snake day, apparently.

You closed the app, and deleted it from her phone before turning it off. She didn't need to see anymore. Anything she needed to deal with, Tree could work through with her.

"Are you okay baby?" you asked quietly, the silence in the house was unsettling. You weren't sure if she was upset, mad, maybe even confused. How could she go from the top of the industry to rock bottom, because of one worthless man and his wife.

You'd think you had grown out of the habit of asking her whether she's okay in times of distress, knowing it just caused her to break down. But you engulfed her in the tightest hug you could muster, a hug that protected her from the outside world and made her feel safe in your little
bubble of love. She felt safe to show you how she felt, truly. And she let you shower her with love and protection.

"I'm here for you, my sweet Tay, whatever you need I'm here for you darling," you murmured softly. "You are worth so much more than they are making you to be. And I love you, beyond the stars, moon and Saturn" you assured her as she kept quiet, you assumed she had a million thoughts in her head and they were racing 1000 miles an hour. You just let your wife do her thing. As long as she was in your arms nothing could harm her.

After a few moments and silence and sniffles, she spoke up.

"Why does this keep happening?" she asked softly, "Why does everyone always hate me?" she continued, her words muffled by your shirt as she hasn't moved from her position.

"I don't know, Tay, you know you don't deserve it, you know you are a beautiful woman, you have the kindest soul, and you are the most caring person in the world, I will never understand why the world wants to see you fail, but you are worth so much more than that. And you will make the world's greatest comeback I can already see the thoughts swirling in your mind," you whispered, gently brushing a strand of hair from her face. "You have a strength within you that's unmatched, my love. The world might throw storms at you, but we'll weather them together. You're not alone, and I believe in you more than anything." you finished and placed a sweet kiss on her cheek.
