"MXES said there was a tunnel that opened up to the basement that we could just crawl through."
"Are you kidding me? Now that thing just decided to appear? Right. Logic."
"Follow me—"
"No, you follow me. I know where we're going."
I heard him huff and puff as we walked out the back door. All in front of us was the forest. Through here, we could successfully sneak our way to the Pizza Plex without police interference.
What a plan.
——————"Hah... jeez, did we really have to go through there?"
"Yeah," Gregory replied, not a huff in the sound waves. "We really did— in fact, you don't want to get caught now, do you?"
"I guess not... but I mean— it just feels longer too. I felt if we went... I have memory problems."
"Poor MXES." Gregory had muffled under his breath.
We stumbled out of the woods and looked in front of us. There it was. The big ol' Pizzaplex— full of haunting memories of my fat ass starving. It wasn't a good time, at all. I'm probably going to get fat now that my body's eating schedule is off.
I looked over at Gregory who was already about 20 steps away from me.
"Dude! You can't leave me like this!" I sped up to him, catching up to where he was.
"Start paying attention and stop looking at the Plex like it's some beautiful, gorgeous statue." Gregory said, a hint of sarcasm.
"You really hate this place, don't you?"
"Yeah? Obviously. Duuuuh," Gregory poked my forehead, nudging it. "I died here."
Guilt washed over my body.
"Oh... right."
I looked up at him, my eyebrows slightly curled in shamed. Gregory just looked at me with that broken face of "his". I looked up and saw that we had walked closer to the Pizzaplex now. Just what we wanted (and needed). I let out a sigh as I kept walking.
We got closer and closer by the seconds before we reached the building.
"Oh... phew, we made it..."
"Not really, the tunnel is on the other side."
"Are you kidding me, dude?"
"Nope. Now c'mon, kiddo." Gregory emphasized.
"Kiddo?"
"Yeah?"
"I'm not a kid!"
"Well, I mean, you're short... so why not? Kiddo..."
"Okay. Fine. Sure. Kiddo."
I heard a mumble from Gregory. I didn't want to say anything about it. I just want to get this all over with. I just want to free that blueberry and let him out so I can get this out of the way.
However, what about Greg? I have no idea, but I'm sure we'll do something about it. I'll fix him... oh wait. Right. I'll get my dad to do it.
