As I entered my room, I didn't even bother to turn on my lights. I plopped onto the bed and got under the comforter. I lied there for a moment wondering when I can just forget any of this happen. I just want to go back in time and change the decisions I made a while back. However, if I didn't, I wouldn't have met MXES. His existence wouldn't even be thought of.

Like they say... everything happens for a reason.

I rolled over and faced the wall. My eyes closed and all I saw was the dark.

I slowly rose up on my bed. My sheets were destroyed and everything— my pillows— were on the floor.

Must've been one hell of a sleep. Was I that tired?

I mean, yeah, walking hours and possibly days without proper sleep and food can wear you out, to my experience.

I rubbed my eyes and got up out of bed before I heard the loud ringing on the house phone. Must be my parents.

I hurried downstairs to the phone and yawned as I answered.

"Hello?" I said with the most slouchy voice ever.

"Y/n! We've been trying to call you for an hour now!"

I jerked back, my heart beating hard from the loud noise.

"Sorry..."

"Y/n... you know better than that. What were you doing anyways?"

"Sleeping, dad. I'm sorry, jeez."

"Oh," I heard him pause. "Alright we'll just be sure to be up a bit early next time."

"Sure. Got anything else to say?"

"Be sure the house is cleaned up and tidied. Don't make or leave messes. We're coming home tomorrow."

"Tomorrow? Really? Wow."

"Time flies doesn't it?"

"Yeah," I nodded slowly. "Sure does..."

"You alright?" Dad asked over the phone with a hint of worry.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just shocked by how fast it went."

"Yeah, your mother and I actually wish we stayed longer, but anyways, we got you some things."

"Oh really?"

"Yeah, we think you'll like them."

"Alright, thanks dad."

"Of course, sweetie. Be safe."

And with that, my dad hung up, followed by the beeps of a phone done with its work.

I hung the phone on it's stand and looked down, sighing. I closed my eyes and rubbed my head.

What am I going to do? The outside— the yard— is a mess. Leaves, probably garages, and weeds, uncut grass!

Lord.

"Quite the deal, hm?"

I slowly turned around.
