"Got any food?"

"No... why'd would I have food? I don't eat."

"I thought you said you could taste. Don't you have something?"

He sighed.

"I suppose I have something. Just for taste!"

MXES pulled out a plastic pack of mint gum. This man is so obsessed with mint, isn't he?

"Here."

"Uhm," I looked at it with a fake smile— secretly disappointed. "Thank you, I like this."

The dark blue bunny gave me a wide smile and tilted his head, his eyes turning into a slit shape.
I slowly put the piece of gum in my mouth, feeling my eyes water from the mint.
Chewing slowly, I looked away from MXES to avoid letting him think I was crying.

"Why are you looking away, Y/n? Is something wrong..."

He moved his head over to see what I was doing.

"Your eyes are watery," He grabbed my head and faced it towards his face. "Is the mint too strong?"

I nodded my head.

"Yeah, I didn't want to make you think I was crying or anything."

"I'm not that stupid."

"True. You kind of can't be."

"Exactly, I'm just a silly bunny that is meant to protect... especially young ladies like you."

I just gave him a few blinks as I felt my face warm up.

"Have you ever seen how beautiful you are?" His finger ran across my chin before his hand cupped my left cheek.

"Not really... there isn't a mirror that I've seen yet." I smiled softly.

"Would you like one?"

"Of course. I would like to see how I look right now."

MXES pulled some mirror out of nowhere. It was humongous— it was small and had a mini crack at the bottom left corner.
He faced the mirror towards me and I couldn't believe my eyes.

"I look miserable!"

"You do? I don't think so." He moved the mirror away.

"My hair... it's so messy! And I haven't cleaned myself so I have pimples everywhere..."

"Darlin' that ain't stopping me. I've seen how beautiful you were before and been hypnotized ever since then— no matter how ugly you think you are, now."

MXES let out a little whistle as he threw the mirror to the side.

"I guess. I just don't like myself like this."

"Eh. Don't fret. I mean look at me, I don't even have legs or fully-made arms."

"You do have one hell of a jawline though." I smirked.

"So the truth comes out?" MXES leaned in closer to me.

"No! Of course nothing comes out. I didn't mean it like that! I don't have feelings for you."

"I recommend that you do."

"Oh. Wait— are you even capable of... being in a relationship with someone— even your own... 'species'?"

"I can't answer that."

"Why can't you?"

"I don't exactly know, myself, that's all."

"I can't force you on that," I sighed. "After all, you're just some security program."

"You sound disappointed." He teased me more.

"Okay okay not really."

MXES looked down with a frown, if he could frown.

"I'm also a human. A real living breathing human who reproduces with other humans. I don't think a relationship with pixels would be normal."

"Give me a second."

"Huh?"

"Do you want children of your own? Like... what you people call 'family'?"

I thought about my answer before a moment before I spoke.

"Of course. It's all I really want from life. I just want a happy and loving family with good morals."

"Too bad I'm not a human."

"That's true."

"Oh so you like meeee?"

"No! I don't know!" I stuttered.

"It's fine," MXES grabbed my hand. "Just... let me give you a slice of my love."

I gave him a weird look like he said something cringe.

"Did I say it right?"

It was so cute of him to try to fit in with us. No matter how cringy or hard to listen to he was, it always slithered it's way into my body and exactly to my heart. I kept making up excuses as to why I didn't want to be with him, but those were all wrong.

I love... I love this guy.
