📍31st January 2023 - Perth, Australia

Perth seemed quieter without Daniel, and Amber felt a pang of loneliness as she wandered through their home. With Daniel en route to New York for the Red Bull car reveal, excitement buzzed across the globe, but a tinge of sadness lingered for Amber, unable to join him on this particular journey.

Sitting by the window, she sighed. Her best friend, Francesca, and Michael were attending, and the thought of missing out intensified her blues. The anticipation in the air felt bittersweet, and Amber found solace in the memories of their dance.

"It's just you and me." Amber whispered down to her tummy and rubbed it once over with her hand. "And those two weird men in my kitchen."

Unbeknownst to Amber, the watchful eyes of Marv and Rich ensured her safety in Daniel's absence. The security duo, blending into the background, maintained a discreet presence, committed to their duty of safeguarding Amber. They exchanged glances, silently acknowledging the weight of responsibility that came with protecting someone's world.

As Amber navigated through her quiet moments in Perth, Marv and Rich remained vigilant, their focus unwavering. The commitment to keeping her safe provided a subtle reassurance.

"Amber, love?" Marv knocked on the door and poked his head around as Amber smiled, initiating him into the room.

"Yes?" Amber asked politely as she averted her gaze back out the window.

"Rich is making a cuppa, would you like one?" He asked as he placed both hands in front of him.

"I'd love one." Amber smiled. "A little drop of honey please."

"As you wish." Marv said with a quick nod as he turned to leave the room.

"Marv?" Amber called out which halted him in his tracks, forcing him to turn around to face Amber again. "I'm very bored."

"I understand Amber, but Daniel informed us to keep you as safe as possible." Marv spoke clearly. "We are under strict orders to keep you at home."

"I know." Amber said glumly, biting down on her bottom lip. "Have you heard from Harry?"

"He hasn't called today." Marv nodded curtly.

"I don't know how much longer I can be cooped up inside, Marv. Surely, I can go outside and do something?" Amber said as she stood up from the window seat. "I feel like I'm going stir crazy!"

"I'll make a call to Harry." Marv said. "We can assess the situation once we've heard from the boss."

"I find it weird that you call him 'boss'." Amber said as she walked over to Marv. "I'll come to the kitchen with you."

With that, they both started to walk, out of the room and down the lengthy corridor towards the centre of the house, where the kitchen, dining room and first lounge were situated.

"Why's that weird?" Marv laughed to himself. "He is our boss."

"He doesn't seem like a boss to me." Amber said as she glanced at Marv as they walked side to side. "He's quite unprofessional, no?"

"Oh, yeah." Marv chuckled. "He's the most down to earth boss I've had, you could say. That's me being polite."

"Can I ask you something?" Amber said in a quieter voice than the one she had been previously using and she stopped pacing down the corridor.
