It’s been 3 days since I woke up inside the book and became Felicia. At sa loob ng tatlong araw na iyon ay nagkulong lamang ako sa loob ng kuwarto ko, isolating myself from my family.

Hindi naman ako ma b-bored dahil mayroon akong sariling library sa loob ng kuwarto ko. Although it’s not as big as the Library Room we have here inside the Mansion, it’s enough for me to keep myself busy.

Ayoko munang lumabas sa kuwarto ko dahil baka panibagong stress na naman ang naghihintay sa akin. Kahit naman nagkulong na ako rito ay nakakausap ko pa rin si Melissa dahil siya lamang ang pinapapasok ko sa silid.

“Lady Felicia, sure po kayo na ayaw mong lumabas? You’re also rejecting all the letters that are sent for you.” sambit ni Melissa. She’s right, I decided to lock myself and ignore everyone for a while to have my peace of mind even just for days.

I have a lot of reasons, one of them is that I can avoid all the letters that are sent to me. Hindi naman ako ganoong sikat pero ang Tatay ko ay oo, importante sa mundong ito ang makapag secure ka ng mapapangasawa mo for future purposes. Of course, politics na naman at lahat ng natatanggap kong mensahe this past few days ay paanyaya para sa isang arrange marriage.

At kaya rin ako umiiwas ay para na rin makatanggi ako kung sakaling maimbitahan na naman ako sa Imperial Palace. There is no way that I’ll come back to that place again! I have no reasons to come anyways.

“If you’re worried about me, I’m fine.” saad ko saka ibinaba ang hawak na libro. I am currently reading a History book, just learning about the past of this world.

Melissa nodded. “I understand, sorry for being audacious.” nakayukong aniya, napakamot naman ako sa batok ko saka napabuntong hininga.

Tatlong araw na ako rito pero hindi pa rin ako sanay sa pormal na asta niya, minsan ay kaswal siya pero hindi pa rin mawawala ang pagiging pormal niya. I want her to be confident soon to talk with me like a friend, siya lang ang kasama ko araw-araw at ayoko naman na ganiyan na lamang siya sa akin habang buhay.

Pareho kaming natiligan ni Melissa nang may kumatok sa pintuan. Melissa glances at me as if she’s asking for my permission to handle the person outside.

I shook my head, this time ako naman. Halos kanina pa ako nakaupo rito sa sofa. Tumayo na ako mula sa pagkakaupo saka lumakad patungong pinto, nakasunod naman si Melissa sa akin.

I opened the door and Butler Z greeted me. He’s wearing his usual customized Butler uniform but what piqued my interest is he’s wearing a monocle this time, okay lang kaya ang mga mata niya?

Butler Z looks so fine, naa-amaze rin ako sa customized uniform niya, it’s so formal that you won’t expect that he’s just a Butler for my Family. His customized uniform embodies striped pants joined with two colors of black & white and a beige shirt that is layered with a black tuxedo jacket that emphasizes his well-built body. On the stomach part of his black tuxedo you’ll see a white chain connecting each side of the clothes, it looks like it is made out of pearl and metallic chains. While on his chest, left part; he has a gold chain that is also connected from the cross-like-key that is attached to the collar of his suit. And lastly, around his neck, he’s wearing a black tie with a blue gem stone that shines bright when light reflects.

“A pleasant afternoon, Butler Z.” pagbati ko sakaniya, he greeted back with a smile on his face. Napadako ang mata ko sa kanang kamay niya na may hawak na isang box.

“The Count ordered you to wear these clothes, your Teacher will arrive soon. Please, get ready.” aniya saka inabot sa akin ang hawak niyang kulay brown na box, napakunot ang noo ko sa sinabi niya at nagtatakang nag angat ng tingin sakaniya.
