Chapter 14

You woke up during the lunch break, finding yourself on a bed in Recovery Girl's office. As you rubbed your eyes, a huff escaped you, pondering the toll your recent transformation took on your energy. "Oh dear, you're awake. Good, your transformation didn't cause you too much damage, just energy drain," Recovery Girl informed, rolling up to you on her chair. You nodded in acknowledgment before standing up, hissing a bit at the soreness in your body. The utilization of your larger Indominus Rex form hinted at undiscovered depths of power within you.

Walking out, you overheard Uraraka's voice praising Iida for pulling his strength together. Iida sighed, acknowledging your contribution. "I know, but Y/N definitely showed her strength!" A chuckle escaped you, diverting attention your way. However, before you could sit down, Todoroki approached. "Come with me," he said, and you furrowed your brow, exchanging a glance with Izuku standing beside you. "Let's go," you muttered, following Todoroki, with Midoriya at your heels.

You and Izuku stood defiantly against the wall, facing Todoroki's intense gaze. "Why bring us here? What do you want?" Izuku asked, but Todoroki remained silent. 'He's truly intimidating,' you thought, and Indy chastised you for thinking that. "You overwhelmed me," he finally said, and you scoffed, "Sorry about that. But if this is about using your fire, you don't know what I have waiting inside me."

You growled lowly, making Todoroki frown. "What's worse than fire?"

"It's your powers, isn't it? I can't see anything bad in it; you just need to control it. Just like I need to control my alter ego..." You grinned and looked at Todoroki, then Izuku. "I never told any of you this, but when I was little, Dr. Wu injected some kind of serum into me to turn me into a killer. I did at first; I... I ate my sister. I killed her first, then ate her. I was so dizzy back then; I remember barely anything, but I remember her screams, her blood flowing."

You recalled every detail of the aftermath, the chaos after Jurassic World fell. "I was the cause of so much death. I didn't know what I was doing; I was just there, watching, listening, feeling. I was another person, another dinosaur, a monster that is the part of me humans know as the Indominus Rex, the bane of Jurassic World." You shook your head and folded your hands in front of yourself. "I don't want to be that dinosaur anymore. I'm different. Death gave me a new chance, and I'm going to use it to become the hero I never was, the true queen I was meant to be."

Determinedly, you glared at Todoroki. "But that doesn't mean that my friendships will get in my way. I won't let you or anyone else boss me around. I'm a queen, and I want to be treated as such." Leaning forward, your noses nearly brushed. "So don't think you're the only one here holding back. Don't test me, Icy Hot; you have no idea what I'm capable of." Leaning back, you squeezed Izuku's shoulder. "And don't look down on Izuku-kun either; he's worth more than you think." With that, you walked off, unsure of what to do next. You had just revealed a dark part of your past to two boys, humans nonetheless. You sighed; you needed to get it together.

As you pondered Todoroki's father being a helldevil, your thoughts were abruptly interrupted by a stiff force. Looking up, you saw All Might in his buff form and a man made of fire – Endeavor. "Ah! Young L/N, glad to see you," All Might exclaimed, his smile widening, while Endeavor stared at you with an intimidating look.

Standing tall, you glared back at Endeavor with eyes made of blood. "I say the same too. I never got to thank you for helping me. I really got to see why they say you're the symbol of peace," you said, winking at All Might, who laughed and blushed. He then nudged you toward Endeavor, who glared at you, and you sneered back.

"So, you're the Dino Hero," he said. You snorted, and your tail flicked, quills shaking. "No, I'm not, but nice to meet you. I've heard so much about you from your son," you said bitterly. Endeavor sneered back, inspecting your scratches. "You're hurt. You better watch it and be careful around Shoto; he'll beat you to the ground."

"Now, now, don't go and make any—" You held your hand up to silence All Might, your eyes narrowing with anger. "No need. Todoroki isn't stronger than me, nor am I stronger than him," you declared, lifting your chin. "And let me tell you, Flame Hero, be a decent human and father. You should know that your son is not just a tool you can use." Stepping back briefly, you bared your fangs at him. "He's a human." Then, you turned around, walking away, your tail stiff and claws itching.

"YY/N Y/N!" You turned to see Hagakure and Ashido in cheerleader outfits. "Hey Toru and Mina, why the hell are you in that?" you snapped, flashing your eyes at their outfits.

"Kaminari and Mineta said that Aizawa-sensei told them to tell us that we have to wear these!" Mina said defensively. You were skeptical; you had only met Mineta for a while, but you already knew he wasn't a decent human.

"I don't know. Those two, I don't really trust," you said, walking away. Then, a familiar tongue wrapped around you, stopping you in your tracks and nearly triggering your attack. But you just glared at Tsu. "Ribbit, you have to, Y/N, or we'll force you," she said, and the other girls had a glint in their eyes, making you a little suspicious.

"Hmm," and then you tapped her tongue, a claw nearly cutting it. "Take it off." She unwound her tongue, and you took a cheerleading uniform, stepping into the changing room, the other girls waiting outside.

The teachers fell silent as the girls of class 1-A appeared in cheerleader outfits. Aizawa and Present Mic blushed lightly. "Looks like class 1-A is giving us a full fan service!" Present Mic exclaimed. The rest of the class turned to see you standing there with pom-poms, revealing your curves and sharp features. Bakugo and Todoroki looked away. "Kaminari, Mineta, you tricked us!" Momo yelled angrily. "I told you," you sighed, comforting her. "Let's make the best of this!" You started twirling your pom-poms. "Go, UA! Go, class 1-A!" you shouted enthusiastically. The girls looked confused, but you kept swirling the pom-poms. "Very enthusiastic, young Y/N," mumbled All Might, observing. The next round was announced, and the team that won the cavalry battle would face...
