You sat next to Izuku at lunch, enjoying a plate of beef stew. "What do you think the practice exams are about?" he asked, curiously. You swallowed your mouthful and flicked your quill before responding, "I'm not sure, but I bet it's something that involves fighting with an opponent who is equal, yet stronger."

"Yeah, I guess," Izuku replied, about to continue eating until he was unexpectedly hit on the head with a tray. "Oops, sorry! Your head is so big, I couldn't dodge it," a blind student chimed in, the same person you remembered from the sports festival. "You're the human with the pretty purple eyes," you blurted out bluntly. He paused for a moment, and you swore you saw a light blush before he smirked. "And you're the oh-so-fantastic dinosaur hero, the only positive thing in the pathetic class 1-A. Such a shame you lost your eyesight," he said, this time with genuine sympathy. It dawned on you that he wasn't joking.

"Um, thank you for worrying," you replied, perplexed by his genuine concern. Just then, he was chopped on the back of his neck by someone else. "Sorry about him, hope Monoma wasn't being too weird," Kendo interrupted, joining your conversation. You turned to face her as she continued, "Hey, Kendo, he wasn't being weird." She nodded and then shifted her attention to Izuku. "So, if you guys want to know about the practical terms, I know it's a simulation using the robots from the entrance exam," she explained.

"Oh, really? How do you know?" Izuku asked, intrigued. "An upperclassman told me," Kendo replied. Monoma interrupted, "Kendo, what are you doing? We were supposed to keep this information to ourselves so that we can beat class 1-A." Kendo promptly hit him once again before walking away. You, Izuku, Uraraka, and Iida exchanged puzzled glances as the strange encounter unfolded. "Weird people, but they're nice," you concluded, amused by the peculiar interaction.

As you left Izuku's room, you assured him that you would study with Yooumomo later and promised to see him in a few hours. You walked out of his dormitory and checked your phone, seeing a text from Ashido saying she was at the train station. You used a map app to navigate your way there, but as you walked, you noticed a strange figure behind you. The scent outline wasn't there, and the person had a black jacket and purple skin, held together by stitches. It looked both scary and cool at the same time.

"Um, hi," you said, but the person stared blankly at you with a small smirk. They reached out their hand towards you, which made you back away. You bared your teeth and flexed your claws, but the person seemed unfazed.

"Don't be too hasty attacking me, Tomura will kill me if he sees any bruises on your body," they said, grabbing your wrist and trying to pull you against the wall. You were bigger than them, and easily pushed them back down. Your veil fluttered in the wind as they stood up again."What do you want?" you growled at them. There was no one around - no cars, no buildings - just you and them.

"Answer me, pest," they snapped, smirking up at you. You narrowed your eyes as they continued, "Because I must say, you're quite cute."

You scowled at their words and pressed harder with your claws, inching closer to their throat. They turned their attention to your eyes and followed the scent traces of their own.

"Who did this to you? Was it that Bakugo kid? I'll burn him to a crisp," they growled mostly to themselves. You shook your head and roughly rose up.

"Who are you exactly?" you asked, readying yourself for battle. They came closer to you as blue fire surrounded their hand.

"Call me Dabi, but maybe in the future, you can call me D-," they said before roaring in your face, making them yelp and fall over. You turned around and sniffed the air, not seeing or hearing their scent anymore. You relaxed knowing that Dabi had disappeared for now.
