Chapter 12

Y/N and Megumi freeze upon hearing the voice. Megumi knew to whom the voice belonged to meanwhile Y/N stood there, after a few seconds she realized the voice belonged to none other than Sukuna.

"Don't be so scared." Sukuna said smirking.

"I am in a good mood right now, so let's chat." he continued and as for Y/N and Megumi, they just remained frozen.

"This must be the price he's paying for using me without any restraint. He seems to be having some trouble switching back." Sukuna continued, standing in front of them with hands in his pockets.

They gazed at the tattooed man, frightened and clueless, knowing they were no match for him. He could end them in an instant if he desired.

"But well, it's only a matter of time." as he spoke, his hands reach out for his uniform, and rips it apart.  Y/N couldn't help but steal a glance at his bare upper body.

"So I thought about what I could do now." as soon as he finishes his sentence, his hand stabs himself in his chest, pulling out the heart out of the body, blood pouring out.

"I am going to take him hostage." Sukuna declared, maintaining his smirk. Y/N and Megumi's eyes widened at the shocking sight.

"Hostage?" Megumi questioned.

"That's right, I can still live without this, but not the brat." Sukuna replied.

"B-But how can you live without a..a heart..?" Y/N questions.

"It's gonna be too complicated for you, insect." Sukuna mocked.

"If he switches with me, he'll die." he continued tossing the heart on the ground casually.

"And also I am doing this to make doubly sure." he pulled out a shriveled and mummified finger, with distinctive markings and swallowed it whole.

"Sukuna's finger, the cursed object they keep mentioning. The one that Itadori ate and caused him to incarnate. It looks disgusting, how did he even manage eat that thing? Ew" Y/N thought staring at Sukuna.

"Okay, I am finally free. You can start to panic, I am going to kill you." Sukuna declared glancing at Megumi.

Megumi gets into a fighting stance while Y/N glanced at him.

"Fushiguro, we can't." she whispered in a low voice, inaudible to Sukuna.

"We HAVE to make Itadori switch, or else it's not gonna be good, neither for us or the others. It's Sukuna we're talking about, there's gonna be mass destruction if Itadori doesn't come back." he responds whispering back to her.

"Women and children are crawling everywhere like maggots. Marvellous. It'll be a massacre."

Recalling Sukuna's words when she first encountered him was enough for her to make up her mind.

"You're correct. Let's do this." Y/N said, confident and dedicated.

They continue to look at Sukuna as Megumi began, "You don't seem to understand, that guy..
Itadori will be back."

"Even if it means sacrificing his life. That's how he is." Y/N continued.

"You're flattering him too much. He's just a moron who's a little stronger than most people." Sukuna stated, wiping blood off his chin.

"He was trembling with the fear of dying earlier..while talking pretentiously to himself. I am sure that he doesn't have the guts to commit suicide." Sukuna declared.

"No, he's gonna come back. He will come back," Y/N insisted.

"Too much flattery for a brat like him."Sukuna scoffed.

Megumi made a hand sign, summoning a Shikigami from his shadow—an enormous bird with an extremely eerie mask and a set of humanoid teeth.

"I finally managed to come out. Let's make a full use of this." Sukuna declared as he fixed his hair.

Megumi rushed towards Sukuna, throwing punches and kicks, but Sukuna effortlessly dodged them with his hands in his pockets, as if it were nothing. For him it was like air hitting him.

Y/N felt an odd feeling but knew this was their only choice. She wanted to help Megumi but didn't know how to intervene.

"How interesting. You're using Shikigami, so why would you come at me personally?" Sukuna questioned Megumi mid-fight.

Now the Shikigami and Megumi both were attacking Sukuna, who effortlessly dodged them..

Sukuna held Megumi's hand pulling him closer as he said, "Put more curse into it..and come at me."

Y/N saw this as a perfect opportunity to get into the battle, she swiftly moved towards them. She was ready to attack but before she could even hit Sukuna, he harshly struck her. She was tossed into the forest. Breaking a few trees, she landed her back on on one of them, injured.

Due to the heavy impact, two huge trees and few debris fell on her legs and torso, trapping her. Area covered in debris, she looked around with a fussy vision. She tried to get moving but wasn't able to, instead the tree and debris poked her body causing it to bleeding in certain areas.

She struggled, but the trees weight was really something that she couldn't lift. And two of it? yeah that's impossible for her.

Megumi and Sukuna were nowhere in sight . She struggled and looked around panicking and worried. It was obvious that they were here but she couldn't make out where exactly and how far they were.

After few minutes of just sitting there, trapped and helpless, she suddenly felt a presence in front of her. She knew who it was, she looked up at him with a tired and helpless face.

"What a troublesome little thing." Sukuna said as he looked down at her with his evil smirk.

"W-Where's Megumi?" She questioned worried.

Sukuna picks her up by her uniform as she screams in pain since the tree scratches her legs causing the skin to be peel, as it was burning and bleeding.

"What makes you think I'll tell you that. Besides now it's your turn to entertain me." he said smirking as he stared at her face.

"Wha-" before she could complete, Sukuna threw her into a building, a school to be specific. She landed in an empty classroom, a few benches misplaced due to her hitting them.

She struggled to get up as legs were numb due to the trees weight. And the pain in her back caused her hindered movement.

Just a second later Sukuna was with her. He grabbed her neck and lifted her up. He pushed her against the wall. His eyes slowly start to glow red as he squeezes her neck harder, pressing her body against the wall with force.

"If you're obedient, this is gonna be easier for the both of us. Don't push me to my limits." he commanded menacingly.
