She gripped on the stack of papers that occupied her arms. She silently prayed that these papers does not flutter all over the floor. She would scream if that actually would happen.

"Look what we have here..." Said a deep annoyed voice behind the female that rolled her eyes knowing well who this was. She had no energy for this male behind her. She slightly started walking faster. She does not want to be caught up in a conversation with a male that has fun while he physically and emotionally hurts others.

The male noticed the change in her actions which caused him to clench his jaw in anger, "What is your damn problem?" he grumbled out narrowing his sharp eyes at the female in front of him.

She countered, "What are you doing skipping class?" she stopped in her tracks. Slightly bending her knees to lower the stack of papers neatly on the floor, "Are you looking for someone to annoy?" she asked him, now fully staring at the angered male. She placed her hands on her hips while she stared up at the male who could only stare at the small female with unreadable eyes.

He smirked, "Maybe I am?" he answered her with a question while he stealthily twirled a lock of her hair once more. This caused the female to furrowed her brows and stare at the boy in disgust, "don't look at me like that.." he softly said which made the female to clap his hands away as she backed away from the male that only chuckled at her reaction, "to answer your question, sweetheart-"

"don't call me that -" she barked

"what?" he smirked once he noticed he was pulling on a nerve, "Sweetheart?" he cooed with a smirk playing on his lips.

"Stop it." She whisper-yelled

Ignoring her completely, he continued his statement, "I do not need those classes anyway, sweetheart." he emphasized on the pet name he has giving her. He saw the anger lingering with in her large innocent eyes. He stepped closer whereas she took small steps back. They might of known each other for a long time. They practically grow up with each other, but he could never seem to have spoken to this female. He would always just acknowledge her from afar. Everyone feared him... but why not her?

She scoffed out, slightly forgetting about the stack of papers behind her. She was never good at remembering things. She struggled with everything, but art. She needed someone to help her, so that she could finally beat Oliver,... -in the most kindest way... - and get him to notice her... "We all need that classes..." she sighed out softly as she turned her head to side in shame.

She was not as smart as everyone else. She is actually struggling. Her parents cannot afford the help to aid her. She was lucky enough to get accepted in this prep school for her art skills. Gary saw the shift in her mood and was about to ask what was the matter, but

Suddenly

Her eyes widened in shock when she saw a familiar face coming towards them. Her mind became clouded, she chocked on her words as she stepped backwards once more now stumbling over the stack of papers and landing on the floor. Blush rushed to her cheeks and Gary took in the flustered female with confusion...

He turned his head in the same direction as the female to see what has got her legs all jelly and eyes forming hearts. And there it was...

The male top in the grade,

the male with the good looks and manners...

Oliver..

"you like Oliver.." he whispered as he knelt down to the female that tried catching her breath..

She only stared at him with big and frightened eyes, "I need to hide." she yelped, immediately getting up which caused the male to get up as well. She hid behind Gary  while slightly gripping on his school shirt. This caused a slight blush to rise to his cheeks.

"Garrett!" yelled a happy Oliver, "Funny seeing you here!" he smiled slightly looking at the mess surrounding him. Oliver furrowed his brows when he saw that there was someone standing behind Garrett, but shrugged his shoulders with a smile

"yeah, it fall out of my hands.. " he lied for Hailey.

Oliver eyed him, "the teacher told me to look for Hailey.. -"  this caused Hailey to grip a bit more tightly onto his shirt, "- she was suppose to bring the papers... - have you seen her?" he asked curiously wondering who was behind him..

"you know, Hailey...she gets lost sometimes.. This is a big school.." he covered for her. She slightly smiled at the taller male. She could not face Oliver. Whenever she saw him she would run.

She would hid.

She would be too embarrass to face him..

Oliver turned on his heels, "Maybe she will be at class by the time I get there..." he pondered, "Thank you... Garrett." he lowly said as his sparkles in his eyes dims

"Sure thing.." Garrett rolled his eyes.

They were not friends and never will be...

They were rivals and for good reason too...
