"How is my little study bean going?" Lexy smiled softly as she slid into the seat next to her companion. She watched her companion with great concern once she noticed the black bags forming under her eyes. She gave her a sympathetic smile and a pat on her head. Hailey only sighed out in exhaustion while she stared at the bed haired male in front of the class. Knowing that this will be all worth it in the end. She would obtain her prize,,, which was the male that gave his companion a loving smile.

 She wished that she was the one on  the other end to retrieve that magnificent smile.

From afar, it caused the female to melt in her seat, imagine If she stood in front of him.... She would probably explode-,

 "Earth to Hailey." Lexy waved her hand in front of the dazed Hailey.

Hailey shook her head and looked towards her companion with a tired smile. She nodded her head and raised her brows in confusion for Lexy to repeat her question, "How is the studies?" she questioned her friend who just nodded while she rested her head in the palm of her hand and stared once more at Oliver, "It has been 3 days now.." Lexy informed her companion whom just widened her eyes in an attempt to stay awake.

"I have been doing my homework..." she nodded, "I have asked for more material.." she sighed, now turning her head towards Lexy who was already staring at her with her big eyes, "... and I asked for extra help by Garrett."

Lexy gasped, "THE Garrett???" she questioned female that only smiled with closed eyes. Lexy's facial expression turned to one of fear and disgust, "... he bullies the juniors, right??.." she questioned while she gripped onto her school skirt. She looked terrified that her companion has asked for aid at a hot-headed freak.

Hailey narrowed her eyes slightly towards her companion, "I know, but he stopp-"

"no." she whispered, "You can't ask for someone like him to help you." she whispered loudly while she looked around her, not wanting to be heard, "He is dangerous.." she narrowed her eyes at her companion, "He could hurt yo-"

"Can you stop??" Hailey loudly questioned Lexy whose eyes widened at the rise in Hailey's usually timid tone. This action caused the classroom to stare at the two. One that was shocked while the other looked offended as she was defending a newly formed friend. He might be aggressive but that does not define who he really is, "you should not judge a book by just looking at its cover." Hailey announced not realizing the classroom has dimmed down to listen to her companion and her encounter, "There could be so much good in them and you might just enjoy the content." Hailey narrowed her tired eyes at her appalled friend not knowing that Oliver was staring right at her. She turned to face the entrance where the teacher stomped in with their previous worksheets, which made Hailey sigh.

Every second day, her teacher would do a deed that she dreaded with her entire life. She would hand out 'tests' to see if you have learned anything or just to see if you were keeping up with the work. Hailey slightly lowered her head in shame and embarrassment causing her locks to fall off her shoulders. She never aced or got half the mark of these tests. In her defense, her old school never done these deeds, so it was difficult for her. It was something mandatory to do with your learners at this school which she hated and never saw it in the contract her parents signed for her acceptance at this prep school for rich kids.

The teacher slowly handed out the worksheet to the kids while she praised them for their excellence whereas Hailey bit down onto her bottom lip. This was the worksheet from two days ago, so she definitely knew that she failed it. However, she has been improving her working skills. She got extra material from all her teachers and she asked Garrett to help her to check whether or not it was the correct method.

Once she handed Lexy's worksheet whom received a bright smile from the teacher. Hailey wished for that appreciation for her academic instead for her art talents. The teacher turned that bright smile into a saddened expression and handed the worksheet just as the bell rang for the next session which caused the others to rush out of the classroom. She placed her hand on Hailey's  shoulder while Hailey stared at the disappointing mark she received, "I know you have been trying.." she sighed, "you came to me and the other teachers for extra materials." she informed Hailey about her observations. This caused Hailey to lift her head toward the teacher whom carried a smile, "You can do the test over..-" she said with a reassuring smile, "-but you will need assistance to prepare yourself. I think I know someone that is willing to help you. Just meet back here lunch time."

Without a second thought, Hailey gathered her things in a rush. She had advanced art and thanked the teacher with a hug and left the classroom with a gleam of hope in her eyes. 

She could get extra help, with Garrett and this new person ,she would surely beat Oliver off the first position, finally gaining the attention she wanted... No....
