Surprise Surprise- Chapter 7

Dally's POV
I awoke to Cherry crying in the bathroom. I yawned, then headed over to the door and knocked on it. "Cherry?" "Is everything alright?" She opened the door for me to come in. "I'm late." She said. I couldn't believe my ears.

Cherry's POV
FLASHBACK 20 MINUTES EARLIER...
I woke up at 7:00, I got up and checked my calendar. That's strange, I thought I had my period this month. I flipped back through the old pages to see the last day I had it. I was two weeks late.
"Shit, shit, shit!" I cursed. My mind was racing I was only 17, I can't have a baby at 17!!! Oh god. What would Dally think? I started crying.
"How can I do this?" I muttered as I sobbed into my hands. I heard a knock at the door. It was Dally. "Cherry?" "Is everything alright?" He asked. "I'm late." He looked at me with wide eyes. I sniffled.
"I understand if you don't want to be with me anymore." " I'll just go." I started to walk away. Dally grabbed my wrist and pulled me to his chest and hugged me. I was surprised he didn't reject me, but he doesn't seem the type.
He pulled away and smiled. He put his hand on my stomach. "I will be a great father, and you will be an even better mother." I smiled and kissed him. "I love you so much Dally." I hugged him.
"When should we tell everybody?" I questioned. "How about right now?" I smiled. "Sounds good to me!" We walked out and into the kitchen where Pony was doing homework, Darry was lifting weights, Two-Bit was watching Mickey Mouse with Johnny, and Steve was demolishing the rest of the chocolate cake.
"Hey guys we got big news!" Everyone looked at Dally and me, curiosity fluttering in their eyes. Dally came up from behind and hugged me, careful of my stomach.
"I'm pregnant!" The gang looked shocked, then they all got up and came over to me and Dally. "Good golly Dall, I didn't think you could ever get a girl, let alone become a dad!" Dally laughed and punched him on the arm.
"Congratulations, you two are lucky to be livin' such a life together." Johnny said. I smiled and gave him a hug.
"Hey Cherry your baby better be good looking when it gets older or else we'll know whose genes it got." Ponyboy said. I giggled. Dally laughed and nonchalantly flipped him off.
"Hey Cher, you wanna go out today?" Dally asked. I smiled. "Sure, let's go shopping for the baby too." He smiled. Then we headed outside and into Dally's car, and went to the boardwalk shops.

When we reached the stores me and Dally headed into separate stores.
"Hey I'll go look at baby clothes and you go and look at those wallets you liked." I said, he nodded, gave me a peck on the cheek and went on his way. I headed to the store and began browsing the selection.
There were so many adorable baby clothes, little dresses, pants, shirts, and shoes. "Well, well, well, look who we have here." I heard a voice from behind me. I turned, it was Bob Sheldon. Or more accurate, a very bruised, broken-nosed Bob Sheldon. "Bob get the fuck away from me."
I took the clothes I picked out for the baby and checked out. I walked out of the store and down the street a ways, then I felt a hand cover my mouth. I thrashed and kicked, I even bit my captor. I was quickly pulled into a white van. Before the door shut I saw Dally running towards the van at full speed.
"CHERRY!" He screamed. The door slid shut and someone put a cloth to my mouth. I smacked the person trying to chloroform me. "BITCH!" He yelled, and punched me. Then everything went black.

Dally's POV
I saw Cherry being pulled into a white van. Bob Sheldon was driving. I ran as fast as I could towards the van. "CHERRY!" I screamed.
As the door slid shut I saw fear in Cherry's eyes. Then the van drove off. I ran as fast as I possibly could to the house. "Guys... Bob... Kidnapped... Cherry..." I said in between each breath. Everyone looked shocked. Darry came over to me with a glass of water. "Alright what was he driving? "A white van." I said. "Do you know where it went?"
I let a tear slide down my face before quickly wiping it away.
"I don't know, it might have drove away on Elm St."
"Just help me... It's my girlfriend and my kid man, I can't loose her, it's my first chance at having a family." I sat down and put my head in my hands. "I just need to find her." Darry put his hand on my shoulder.
"We will man, we will."
