Cherry's POV

"Cherry hurry up we're gonna be late!" I heard Dallas yell from outside the bathroom door. We were getting ready to go on our double date with Two-Bit and his mystery girl.
"Alright I'm coming!" I quickly put away my lipstick and headed out the bathroom door. I decided to wear white heels and a floral dress that wouldn't accentuate my baby bump too much. While Dally on the other hand decided to wear his leather jacket and the rest of his usual outfit. Guys sometimes, sheesh.
"Hey baby girl, you ready?" He asked.
"Yeah lets hit the road."
He took my hand and we headed out the door after saying goodbye to everyone.
Two-Bit wanted the date to be great, he reserved us all tables at The Roast which was a fancy restaurant down on West 3rd Street. Two-Bit must really like this girl cause he's been saving up for months to take her here, I even hear that this place got a five star rating!
When we finally pulled in to the parking lot I saw Two-Bit's
car close to where we parked, so since they were already there we headed in.
"Hello how can I help you?" The hostess asked.
"A reservation for for two under the name, Matthews." I said.
The hostess checked her list then looked back up.
"Of course right this way please."
She showed us to the table. The interior was impeccable, but no sight could prepare me for what I was about to see.
"Hey Two-Bit."
Dally said.
I was just about to sit down when I noticed who would
be sitting across from me.
I stared for a minute looking at the face of my previous best friend.
Marsha.
After I found out that I had gotten pregnant I of
course immediately called Marsha since at the time she was still my
friend. She had told her mom about me getting pregnant and she forbid Marsha too be friends with me anymore, and the sad thing is that Marsha agreed with her. She thought I was an unholy sinner and a whore for conceiving a child at such a young age. At the time it hurt like hell, but it didn't phase me as much as it should have, loosing my best friend.
"Cherry are you ok?" Two-Bit asked. I guess I was still staring, oops.
I blinked a couple times and sat down.
"So I want to introduce you guys." Two-Bit said. "Cherry, Dally this is Marsha, and Marsha this is Cherry and Dally."
"Hello." She gave us a little wave and nervously eyed me as I glared at her.
"If you two boys would excuse me for a minute, I need to powder my face." Dally stood and let me out. I headed down the hall to the restrooms I kept bumping into the wall cause I couldn't quite see. Damn these trendy restaurants and their lighting! I thought. I finally made my way into the bathroom and got out my makeup compact. It was nice to be the only one in here, until the door opened. "Cherry I want to apolo-"
"Save it." I said sternly. "I mean what would mommy dearest think of you talking to an unholy sinner and Whore?" I said mocking her. I continued to apply foundation in the spots I missed since I was rushed.

"Cherry I really am sorry It's just we go to church a lot now and the pastor was talking about how we should save ourselves till marriage, and me and my mother both feel very strongly about that."She said. "I truly am sorry Cher." I glared at her for a minute then spoke.
"I forgive you." She smiled and attempted to hug me but I walked back.
"This doesn't change things, I'm not going to become your best buddy again like that." "Your gonna have to earn my friendship back, and its not gonna be easy." I said. She nodded and we headed back to the table where we all talked and enjoyed our meals.
After dinner me and Dally headed back to the house. We soon arrived, I walked down the hall changed into pajamas and flopped on my back, on the ever so comfortable mattress in our room. I heard the door shut and saw Dally walk in.
"Well aren't you quick to hit the hay?" He chuckled and flopped down beside me.
"Ugh, I have never eaten so much in my entire life." I giggled and looked at my belly.
"I'm sure the baby wont be hungry for a long, long while."
Dally smiled and put a gentle hand on my stomach.
"Hi there little girl, I'm your daddy Dallas." He said, talking to the baby.
"And you mommy here Cherry, she's gonna take real good care of you with me, we can't wait to meet you." He said, then he kissed my stomach lightly.
"What makes you think the baby's a girl?" I asked.
He shrugged his shoulders, "I don't know I guess I just want a little girl to spoil." I smiled at the thought, and of course I was hoping and praying for an adorable baby girl.
I put my hand on my stomach for a minute when I felt a jolt.
"Whoa what was that Cher?" Dally asked.
"I think the baby just kicked." I put his hand on my stomach. We felt the kick again and both smiled.
"I love you so much Cher, we're gonna be great parents." He said.

I smiled, "I love you too Dal and I can't wait for us to have a little family soon too."
He smiled, then went to go change. After Dally came back he turned off the light and hopped under the covers, gently snaking his arms around my belly. And once again I feel into a deep slumber, in the arms of my true love.
