I ran as fast as I could going down the halls and up the spiraling staircase. I heard screeching and turned to look over my shoulder to find two of those creatures. My lungs were burning from the musky air of the temple and the dry heat but that didn't stop me. My heart was racing so fast I clenched my chest. I finally reached the gates and closed them behind me. I ran to a wall and did my best to calm my heart and breathing. I heard it again the screeching they made it past the gates i felt so stupid they are made of sand of course a gate wasn't going to keep them out. I peaked over and saw them searching for me. The top of the temple looked like a maze with all the walls broken apart. I kept low and crawled on my hands and knees. Luckily the creatures were loud with those screeches which I used to my advantage by knowing how close they were and which direction to turn to. I moved to another wall and peaked again there were still two. I cursed under my breath and crawled away until I knocked a brick over causing a loud crunch. I closed my eyes and began praying "Please don't find me." But of course to my horror they jumped over the wall and lunges towards me one of them grabbing my ankle I kicked it away knocking half of its head which crumbled to sand but then reformed back to its original form. I panicked because not only can I not defend myself but Caesarion is stuck battling with a horde of them downstairs. I was beginning to lose hope as one jumped on top of me and I reached out my hand and it crumbled to sand. I looked at my hands and began touching the other creature and it did the same. A flash of Hathor popped into my head and I thanked her mentally as she stuck to her word that she would protect me the best she can. I looked towards the gate and heard echos of the creatures climbing up those stairs. I ran back and tried to look around and then I heard a whoosh sound I looked up and saw Caesarion he looked like a falcon with his armor so high in the sky and then flew down to me. "Are you okay?" I nodded quickly "Yes but more are coming." He grabbed my waist pulling me close and grabbed my arms to wrap around his waist "Hold tight and whatever you do don't look down." My eyes widen as I realized he's going to fly. I actually jumped up and wrapped my legs around his waist and my arms around his neck for more support. His eyes met mine they were golden and glowing I couldn't help but blush from the look he was giving me and the position I was in. Our heads both whipped at the gates as a horde of those sand monsters broke through. "Hold on tight!" He jumped out and I couldn't help but let out a scream but stopped once I felt the wind in my hair. I kept my eyes closed but opened them briefly which I saw the temple now as small as a grain of rice in my vision. Not only did I notice we were high but he was flying fast but it didn't feel like we were. I directed him to my hotel since I felt it would be safer with more people around.

Once we got to my hotel and in my room I felt nauseous and ran to the bathroom to vomit. Between my nerves of defending myself against those terrifying sand creatures and flying I got sick to my stomach. I hated vomiting more than anything so I couldn't help but cry out a bit. Caesarion ran over to me and I put my hand up trying to avoid him seeing me but instead he held my hair and rubbed my back soothing me. I don't understand how he can be so calm after what happened meanwhile I'm vomiting my brains out and trying not to lose my mind from all of this. Once I stopped I brushed my teeth immediately and washed my face. "Are you okay?" I shook my head "Absolutely not but I'll manage somehow." Caesarion walked over and pulled me in for a hug taking a deep breath "I am so sorry Elise." I couldn't help but hugged him back again the feeling of safety washed over me. Once I pulled away I rubbed my eyes from not only being tired but the sand in my eye. "So our next plan is to find your mother's tomb." Once I removed my hands Caesarion looked sad which I understood. I felt stupid and careless since I said it nonchalantly. I thought this is what he was mad at Jackson about with the mummies at the museum where in our modern time we view them as art versus the fact they are people too we should respect them not showcase them. "I'm sorry Caesarion." He looked at me with somber eyes. "It's okay I just miss her." I nodded understanding "Of course I will do everything I can to find her and respect her tomb." He managed to smile. I quickly grabbed my iPad and began researching of her tomb could be located but all it says is it's unknown until I landed on a theory made by an archeologist that she could have been buried in part of Alexandria but that fell into the sea. "So do you have any knowledge of where your mother's tomb would be? Some say Alexandria?" Caesarion began to think "That seems likely since that's where our family and every royal goes to learn. I was set to go there to study but then..." his hands clenched and I placed my hand over his to ease his pain. "Well the only thing I guess we can do is go to Alexandria." I went online and purchased tickets. "Elise it will continue to get dangerous from here on." This made me gulp and feel sick a bit but I exhaled. "I know." Once the tickets were purchased I was so tired and it was 3 am, our flight was in 4 hours so I had to take all the rest needed. I climbed into bed still in the same clothes and fell asleep while watching Caesarion looking out the window for any sign of Set.
