"Why are you here?" I questioned and he just pat the space between him and I "Please sit." I looked over to Thea and Isla and to reassure me Osiris responded "They are safe." I sat down beside him but leaving a bigger gap between us and looked at him. "The moon is almost full but not quite. It's still beautiful." He said calmly I nodded and was feeling a little on edge as meeting a god especially the God of the underworld would. "Yes, yes it is." I said quickly acknowledging but also hinting for him to get to the point but he was oblivious. "Khonsu would be pleased with my compliment." He said chuckling and I rolled my eyes "Oh don't be so rude the night is still young." I blushed slightly by being caught by him "Well usually every god I have met has been straight to the point and I want to get this meeting over with." He only smiled still looking at the moon "Is that so?" I shook my head "Yes yes it is soooo." He looked at me with a smile "Being a god to the underworld has taught me patience. Seeing the dead and all their regrets wanting to go back to their lives to relive and fix what they have done wishing they hadn't rushed or fixate on the things that weren't so important." I looked at him surprised and then let out a breath looking at the moon because he was right and who am I to argue with a god. I laid my staff down and crossed my legs feeling more relaxed "There you go." I chuckled at Osiris' response "You know I expected you to be different, you were not what I expected." He leaned back on his arms "Oh and what did you expect?" I shrugged "Well to be more serious and stern." His smile then turned to a frown "I was at one point." his smile returned "But that was a millennia ago." I nodded and enjoyed the moon's light and then the gust of air swept by "Seems like Khonsu is taking a liking to you." He said laughing which caused me to sit up straight causing him to laugh even more. "You gods are insufferable sometimes." He nodded "I agree we can be. I do enjoy you Elise my son chose well." I scrunched my brow but he proceeded "As I know you have heard before you have a challenging path ahead of you." I waved my hand at him "Yeah yeah and you can't tell me what's ahead and such I know." He smiled "Yes but I bend the rules a little." This caused me to sit up straight "Something will happen and a sacrifice will be made but Elise your trust in us cannot falter or your anger to take over." I furrowed my brows "What are you talking....of course why did I ask its always riddles with you gods." He shrugged "Its the only way we can speak with out saying much." I let out a sigh "What's the point then? Why tell me I mean regardless what Isis told me and Hathor were helpful I mean I wouldn't have been as successful on this journey without them but why hang me by a thread on what could happen." Osiris stood up "Take a walk with me." I sighed and stood up brushing the sand off my pants and holding my spear following him. "Do you know what kills a god?" I raised an eyebrow intrigued "No." He crossed his hands behind his back "Its forgetting." I turned my head to the side confused "But you guys aren't really worshipped anymore." He smiled "Elise you're not listening." I went over his words in my head "Ok forgotten..." then it hit me "Which technically you're not because of all the history texts and the archeological finds left behind." He stopped and looked at me "Very good, and this also applies to how powerful we can be as well as trust. Elise you will be in a situation where my brother will do his best to make you forget about us make you hate us but if you trust us and believe we will be by your side." I breathed in deeply and exhaling feeling anxious "So something terrible is going to happen and all I need to do is believe in you and it'll be ok." He didn't shake his head to agree or disagree just gave me a sad smile which made my stomach churn uneasily. "Like I said you gods are insufferable but I will do my best." I looked ahead and saw Isla and Thea still sleeping peacefully "They will be safe." He whispered which made my nerves calm down. "I don't want to give Set the sand but I need Caesarion to be safe and turned back." Osiris's face turned serious which made me stop in my tracks bracing for what he was to say "Set can't use it without a pharaoh." My eyes widen "So he can't kill Caesarion because he needs him." He agreed and I smiled feeling a bit relieved that Caesarion is safe. "I am nervous but I've trained and I am not the same Elise as before." Osiris held his hand on my head and mumbled something in his ancient tongue "You are still the same Elise but stronger. I give you my blessing." I smiled back at Osiris and turned to walk back towards Isla and Thea sitting down slowly falling asleep leaning against my spear.
