Mario wakes up to a glowing light. He sees the door open up, and he hears screaming. He runs outside, seeing no guards, nor any machines. Just the earth. The buses. He's back. He sees his mother and father running to the shuttle, so he runs towards them. But he's too slow. The world moved faster than he did. Until-
(Blast)
(Boom)
He hears that same explosion again. His parents are blown away, before being sucked right in, burning to death by the fires of the atomic blast. He then sees the very monster that took them away from him. Roaring the same roar.
He then suddenly wakes up. Back in his cell. His only home. Bowser was asleep, but there was somebody else in there.
???: Another nightmare?
Mario: Huh? Oh, Blumiere. It's just you. H-How'd you get in.
Bleck: It's my job to offer a prayer. Even to prisoners. Remember?
Mario: Oh, yeah. You want me to pray to your god?
Bleck: (chuckles) I'm actually here for what you asked for.
Mario: Ok, then do you have it?
Bleck: Yes. This is the data of the briefcase your father had.
Mario: Thank you.
Bleck: You seem persistent.
Mario: Well, I've got plenty of free time to wake Bowser up and start analyzing the data on him.
Bleck: Bowser doesn't concern me. I already know why he's in on your plan. But why are you?
Mario: What do you mean?
Bleck: Why are you so obsessed with gaining old data from the past wars that everyone, even you, would want to ignore and forget?
Mario: Why? That's what I've been thinking ever since they locked me and Bowser. Why? Why let the innocents suffer? Do we deserve this? Maybe. But I know that most of the 4 thousand in here is not guilty. The reason we're suffering is because we were forced to abandon our home to him.
Bleck: Failure affects us all in different ways. In the end, he took our last chance. Now, there was nothing left to defeat him.
Mario: That's wrong. He knew it. Dad knew it. That's why he got us to take the bus. Because he knew Godzilla could be defeated. And I'll finish what he started.
Bleck: I see. You know, you're father was just as optimistic as you are. And unlike the children, you experienced the calamity first hand. And I may say, you're almost eager to show this information to us.
Bleck then leaves, and Mario goes towards Bowser.
Mario: Psst. Bowser? Bowser. Wake up.
Bowser begins to open his eyes, and gets up.
Bowser: (groans) What?
Mario: Sorry, but I need you to analyze the data that my dad had the night he died.
Bowser: Huh? Wait, Bleck actually did it?
Mario: Yes. I there's enough data in here for you to analyze.
Bowser: Let me see.
Bowser looks into the data, and downloads the data to his server. It shows all of the classified information from all the fights with Godzilla. There was also extra analysis to all fights.
Bowser: I see. Mario, I think this is enough. All I need is to get it all straightened out.
