A day later, a meeting was made to assess the situation on Godzilla being alive still. E. Gadd is brought into to match the readings with Godzilla attacks, and gets a match.
E. Gadd: She's right. The readings match our previous records on Godzilla, so it's him. Guess it's gonna be harder to establish settlement now. Although, the good news is that Godzilla acts independently rather than in a pack like Zilla.
Toad: And how do you know that?
E. Gadd: I've seen the monster in action by himself. No other members of his race. Further proof is the radiation levels. As you know, Godzilla emits high amounts of radiation around him, that spreads like how a nuclear bomb irradiates its target. And since it's the same as before in past attacks, then it's just one Godzilla. So Godzilla is still a unique genetic defect, and cannot be considered a normal creature like us. The same goes with other Kaiju.
Haruka: Ok, Professor, we get it. But what I wanna know is how the hell is Godzilla still alive, even after all these years.
E. Gadd: Well......that I do not know. There are cases of plants surviving 2,000 years though. He could be going dormant every few millenni-
X: Doc, it ain't a plant, it's an animal.
E. Gadd: I'm not saying he is a plant, I'm just saying. He may be going through a repetitive cycle of dormancy. Possibility #2 would have to be that there were more Godzillasauruses, and after we left, they became Godzillas too, and this is the last one. Possibility #3 however, it....it scares me.
Endurph: I'm assuming that fear is that it's immortal?
E. Gadd: It's unlikely....but yes. Godzilla's biology, alongside the Kaiju's, is beyond every known aspect of biology. So we can't ignore that possibility....which would mean we'll have to do some observations in order to see-
Yoshi: Pardon the interruption, Professor, but research is not the objective of this meeting. Killing Godzilla is the objective.
Haruka: But we-
Bleck: He's right. There is no way we can coexist with monsters, especially Godzilla. So if this is indeed Godzilla, and the last of its kin, then the only option is to kill it.
Haruka: (sighs) Ok, so how do you two plan to do that? It's defied every-
Yoshi: Don't we have a strategy for that already?
Haruka: But we don't know who wrote it!
Bleck pulls up the strategy.
Bleck: Admiral, the file contains data from the late Charles Mario, who researched Godzilla himself. I also have the promise of introducing the identity of the author, right now. But it comes with this. Drop all charges regarding this information, and then....release your former partner Colonel Koopa...
Haruka: Not gonna happen.
Bleck: As well as the son of Charles, Captain Mario...
