Haruka, alongside the other members of the central committee have a meeting. The committee consisted of only a few people. Two humanoid mushrooms named Toad and Captain Toad, Professor Elvis "E" Gadd, Count Bleck, Sir Grodus, Lord Crump, King X, Endurph, and Haruka herself.
E. Gadd: According to the emigration group I led the other day, there seems to be no sign of life in Tau-E. Sorry, Madam.
Endurph: The Gematron calculation crystal also predicted disappointing outcomes. The probability of finding another habitable planet besides Tau-E is 0.1 percent.
Toad: Our resources are growing more severe too. Supplies are running out, and not even doubling the discomfort index will do any good. Life would be unsustainable in 8 years.
King X: Don't forget, the landing ship accident led to a bunch of rebellion. Things are grim.
Haruka: Yes. All of it seems hopeless at this point. That's why I talked with former sergeant Yoshi. Yoshi?
Yoshi: Um, hi guys. So, after hearing what the movement is for, it seems I know what they demand. They demand that Bowser's words from before be heeded.
Haruka: I've heard. And I'm afraid it's our only option. Gentlemen, we're gonna have to look into the possibility of returning to earth.
Capt. Toad: Mam, not to burst your bubble, but it's already 11.9 lightyears away. None of us have even made a precedent to travel back. Besides, isn't it too risky?
Endurph: Gematron's guidance isn't bound by time or distance, my friend. As long as you're reactor is active, the calculation will lead the way.
King X: Yeah, but only one thing, Endurph. The reactor requires 170% of its operation ratio based on the simulator. You sure it can handle that?
Endurph: Well, I'm not the expert on the nuclear reactor, am I?
Haruka: But what I wanna know is if it's worth the risk to abandon the emigration plan. Because even if we return to earth, wouldn't it be less habitable than it used to be?
E. Gadd: Well, we currently don't know how much earth has changed since we left. But according to the theory of relativity, I'd say that at least a thousand years have passed, which could be good news, since the environment most likely has improv-
X: And how do we know it didn't get worse?
E. Gadd: Well.....er........
X: Exactly. I say we stick to emigration.
Haruka: Yeah, it's probably not worth the risk. But on another note, there's that anonymous essay published on the shared server. Why would it pop up at a time like this? Did anyone look into it?
Captain Toad: Yeah, I have some news on that. While the writer remains secret, it contains information from past battles with Godzilla. Classified information.
Haruka: I see. But how did someone get a hold of that data? It couldn't be a random soldier. They'd need to type in a code.
Captain Toad: Mam, they did enter a code. It looks like Bowser's code.
Haruka: But-But that's impossible. I thought we logged out his server!
Bleck makes a slight smirk, as he and Grodus lock eyes for a moment, as if communicating something.
