Quite Unexpected

Chapter 2: Starting Questions

It was currently 1 p.m. in the afternoon in Thailand or whatever timezone the people were in, as today was the day the two were going to answer questions from their fans. Lisa and Jennie were in the living room, sitting on the couch as Lisa played with her dog, Love, as their other pets ran around. “Hey, so shall we start the insta live?” Lisa asks Jennie, who nods and takes out her phone and pushes the insta live.

As soon as the insta live started, people that got in noticed a few things. The first thing is that the two already looked like a married couple, which was adorable to look at, the second is that they had little makeup on but still looking gorgeous as ever and the third was what they were wearing, as Jennie wore a comfy pink dress and Lisa was wearing a white sleeveless t-shirt and was wearing her glasses. It was kind of understandable for them to be dressed like that since the climate in Thailand is different from Korea.

For the newly engaged couple, they were amused as they noticed a lot of people had joined the Instagram live and were commenting that they looked adorable. While the two looked at one another first with a smile and then back at the camera to greet the viewers, “Hey guys,” Lisa says in English as she waves excitedly at the cameras, happy to interact with their fans as she gets Leo, who was behind the couch, and makes him wave and then lets him go, “hi.” Jennie was the next person to greet them while giving her adorable gummy smile to the viewers as Lisa looked at her lovingly “Ok, as promised, we are here to answer all of your questions, so let’s start.” She speaks to the fans in English as she starts looking at the comments.

As the two searched for the questions, Lisa stared at Jennie with amusement as she noticed that she was squinting at the screen. “Guess she must have accidentally forgotten to wear her contacts today,” she thought. “Baby, should I get your glasses?” she asked Jennie, who turned around to look at her and shake her head. “No, hun, don’t worry,” she says as she turns back to look at the comments looking for questions while Lisa checks her phone to help with finding questions and thanks the fans who congratulated them on the engagement in the comments and laughs at the fans who were freaking out because of the pet name she gave Jennie “I’ve been calling Jennie that pet name ever since we started dating,” she told the blinks with a grin and continued reading the comments.

Then, after a minute of searching, Jennie found a question: "So when did you guys start dating?” She read out loud as Lisa answered the question, “When we were still trainees.” She responded, earning a lot of “I knew it” from the comments, making Lisa chuckle as she read it. “We started dating when I was 17 and Lisa was 16.” Jennie clarified as she continued to look for the next question “You know, I always thought you and Rosé were dating,” Lisa read, making her laugh aloud as she looked at the screen. “Guys, Chaeyoung is my best friend, and y’all heard of platonic soulmates, right? And plus, what’s wrong with two best friends flirting platonically like I’ve heard people do that?” She pointed it out as Jennie looked amused. “It’s the same with me with Jisoo too” she added as they continued to look at the comments.

While searching for answers, they also casually chatted with their fans, asking about their day. Then Lisa spotted a question, “So Lisa, are you bi or a lesbian?” She said the question and looked towards the camera “I’m a lesbian and I have always known I liked girls ever since.” Lisa explained to the viewers in the Instagram live, then after a second, spoke again, “and like, yeah, sure everyone knew I had a crush on Gong-yo, like we all know that he’s very handsome and all that, and I only said that because I have to and he fits my description of type of person and as you know, i did say that my type has always been people who are older than me and are sexy,” she said as she sent Jennie a wink, who responded by playfully rolling her eyes at her as Lisa chuckled, then looked at the camera again, “Also, hey guys, remember that one interview that asked me about my type of man? and I quickly answered that he should be a great cook, be kindhearted, and that he should also have the same lifestyle as me, but I only said that because I had to answer that question, and plus, those answers all fit Jennie's description, don't they?" she tells them with a grin as Jennie laughs as she remembers how easily Lisa answered the question on who’s her type of woman.

Then Lisa remembered something to which she explained to the viewers, “Oh and for the one where I said something about wanting to switch with Jisoo on the kiss scene, I was just joking and wanted to tease Jisoonie.” Lisa clarified to the viewers then after that Jennie noticed the same question but was directed to her, “Oh, I’m bi.” she said to the viewers, and after a minute of looking, stood up, “Okay, I’m going to get a snack as I’m hungry, so let’s take a short break,” she tells the viewers and starts walking towards the kitchen, “Wait, you’re leaving me alone?” Lisa says to Jennie, in a bit of a panic, “Relax, you have company.” Jennie tells her as she enters the kitchen and Lisa stares back at the camera, “It’s like the BP third anniversary live again.” Lisa says to the camera as she laughs and does the home alone reaction again and continues chatting to the viewers.
