Lisa came back and sat down and read the suggestions of the viewers while speaking to their friends who joined in for a bit. Then saw a question to which she read out loud “did you guys ever thought of coming out?” as what the question said and Lisa answered “we always wanted it but we didn’t want to risk our careers over it either” Lisa gave her explanation as Jennie spoke “the only way we can do what we want was during our tours and everyone can see how we act towards one another” she added then Lisa looked a bit sad “Jennie was always the one who showed how much she cared for me sometimes while I’m the who used to do that but things happened so I had to ignore her sometimes and the only way can show it was through our interactions in concerts but for me it wasn’t enough… I considered myself a coward sometimes in showing how much I loved her," Lisa admitted with a sad smile.
She felt Jennie near her side but she couldn’t look at her in the eyes and felt Love’s head on her lap as he probably sensed that she was sad and as she petted him she heard Jennie speak. “Lisa, please don’t say that you are not a coward,” she said as Lisa finally looked at her. “But-“ she tried to speak but got cut off by Jennie. “You are not a coward you were just being careful in our relationship and wanted to protect us.” She tried to reassure Lisa, but she wasn’t convinced, but Jennie continued, “A coward wouldn’t risk their reputation to be in a relationship, A coward would have given up on our relationship because of how we hid it, but you didn’t do that, so you’re not a coward Lalisa you are brave and strong as you weren’t afraid to love someone like me and didn’t give up on us, and I love you so much for that.” She told Lisa, with a smile, as she looked convinced. “And I love you too much to give up on our relationship like that.” Lisa told her they both smiled and kissed and went to look at the camera once as Lisa felt better but started feeling much better as she saw the supportive comments of the viewers and thanked them.
Then, after that, Lisa decided to answer more questions. “So guys, when is the wedding date?” the question said as the two smiled at one another. “You already know that date,” Jennie grinned, “but we are planning on what year to get married though as we are busy with our own things.” Lisa clarified to the viewers, who were very happy to know that the date was their actual anniversary, “September 28… that was the day we started dating.” Jennie said smiling as Lisa read the next question, “So who fell first?” the question said, and Lisa immediately answered, “Me I fell for her when I was 15, but first I thought it was just a crush but then at some point I realized that I was in love with her, but I didn’t do anything at first because I don’t know if she felt the same way, so I hid my feelings for her.” Lisa answered as Jennie was the next one to answer, “I was 17 when I realized that I was in love with her.” She said with a smile, “I realized it when I started to notice that Lisa wasn’t that kid that I first met and noticed the the changes in her like I always thought that the things that boys do to make girls think they’re cool which I always thought was stupid and childish, but it was cute when Lisa did it even if no one agreed” she said giggling remembering how Jisoo called Lisa an idiot sometimes then continued “I noticed how she looks at me whenever she thinks I’m not looking, how she acts around me, how she prioritizes me more than others sometimes.” Jennie was smiling at the memories. “I still do that,” Lisa says with a laugh as Jennie laughs with her. “Yeah, you still do,” she replies with a soft smile.
And she continues “But I also hid it because I didn’t know if she liked me too.” They answered the follow-up question, “Who confessed first?” They both read it aloud as Lisa decided to speak. “There was no confession because I ended up kissing her,” she admitted with a laugh. She explained more details about the story of their first kiss: “OK, so me and Jennie were outside hanging out as it was our free day and we were walking and talking on the sidewalk, but we stopped for some reason and I remember staring at her for some time and just kissed her right on the spot, but it was just a peck.” She said, as Jennie added her side of the story, “I was obviously shocked at first by what she did, but I liked it and decided to stop her from apologizing with a kiss, but it was not a peck” Jennie clarified with a smile and blush as continued, “I will admit that I had kissed a few people in parties before back in Auckland to know what it felt like, because I saw that it was supposed to be magical in movies and wanted to experience it myself and also do it for the fun of it, and at first it felt exciting, to kiss someone, but at some point it got boring, so I stopped, but kissing Lisa felt different and I realized oh so that’s how it was supposed to feel,” Jennie said, smiling at the memory of their kiss and how their relationship started.
The viewers thought it was cute and one said it kinda was like a k-drama when they learned about it as Jennie continued more, “After that kiss, we decided to talk about the ground rules so we won’t get caught, like just be lowkey on our relationship and dates and if we wanted to kiss again, we would do it somewhere private.” Jennie recalled what she told Lisa that in her room before they kissed again, and it was a sweet memory and she was happy that Lisa kind of initiated that kiss, but still she would have done that herself if she knew Lisa liked her back then hearing Jennie retell that made Lisa smile at that memory of their kiss and was glad that happened and the spoke, “Yeah, we were able to keep it lowkey and secret for a month.” She added as Jennie laughed, “Yeah but Jisoo caught us though.” Jennie added making Lisa laugh as she explained, “OK, so we were kissing in Jennie and Jisoo's room but then Jisoo opened the door and all three of us were frozen in place but then after a second she just closed the door." She said, chuckling at that memory.
Jennie laughs more as she remembered it as Lisa continues, “We talked to Jisoo and, to our surprise and happiness, she told us that she was fine with our relationship and was very happy for the both of us and just told us to be careful.” Lisa says as she finishes her explanation, “and to also lock the door.” Jennie adds, while looking at Lisa, “ Hey I thought I locked the door ok.” Lisa tries to defend herself, making Jennie chuckle and went to look back at the camera. “Then Rosie was the second person to catch us,” she reveals, to which Lisa nods. “Yeah, like it was night-time and we were both in the kitchen talking, and we almost ended up kissing, but Chae, who was going to the kitchen to get a midnight snack, saw us and, like Jisoo wanted to go back to her room to give us privacy and we ended up talking to her, but she had the same answer as Jisoo, and after that hugged us and told us that she was very happy for us.” Lisa adds as Jennie smiles at the memory and is really grateful that their best friends were so supportive.
After that explanation, they checked the comments once again and saw a comment: “So if you two get married, what last name are you guys gonna take?” is what the question said “Manoban.” “Kim.” The two answered at the same time the looked at one another with confusion, “Jennie Ruby Jane Manoban sounds great, right?” She asks Jennie, and also the viewers, “Lalisa Kim sounds better.” Jennie argued back as they continue to stare at one another without backing done to see who would agree (even though both of them secretly liked hearing them say that), but their staring contest got cut short as Leo jumped into Lisa’s lap, surprising both of them. “What’s wrong, Leo?” she asks her oldest cat as she scratches his chin and looks to her side, noticing their pets were staring at her. “I guess they want a snack,” Lisa says and stands up, forgetting *which one is the better last name argument*. “Gonna feed the kids,” she announces and starts walking back to the kitchen while carrying Leo as the others follow.
As that happened, Jennie checked the chat and laughed as she saw the comments started arguing which one was a better last name and spots a comment saying “how about Manoban-Kim?” and thought it was cute and decided that she’s going to talk about that with Lisa later as she continues to chat with her viewers once again.
