Austins Pov
Walking into Andrew's home, he greeted me. Pulling me in for a hug.
"I saw your show man, you did really good. I'm proud of you." He said as he smiled at me walking over to his own house bar.
"Thanks, Bud." I said lightly, following him.
"I can't stay long. Claire wants me to come over later." I said brushing my hair back to remove the hairs from in-front of my face.
"Yeah no worries, what's going on with you two?" He asked smirking.
"Nothing, we're friends. Close friends. That's all."
"You keep saying that but we all know that's not true." He said pouring himself a glass of bourbon.
"You and I both know nothing can happen." I said thinking out loud.
At least not yet I thought to myself.
"Playing Elvis really took a toll on me man. It messed with me a little and my mental health isn't doing as good as it should. I shouldn't be in a relationship for now." I said sighing.
"I understand. But you gotta know she's into you."
"I do, we've talked about it. We are both in a peak of our careers. We just need some time before we rush into anything for now though, we are friends."
"Fine, Fine. I know she's waiting for you so we will catch up later." He says drinking the last of his drink.
"For sure, see you!" I said as I hugged him, leaving his house.
