Claire's Pov
"V, you won't believe it." I said speaking to my best-friend.
"What's up girl?" She said humming.
"Me and Austin kissed." I said squealing inside.
"WHAT. NO WAY. HOW DID IT HAPPEN. MATTER OF FACT WHEN?!?" She said screaming making me pulling the phone away from my ear.
"This morning. We hung out last night and watched movies and this morning he kissed me. I obviously kissed back." I said thinking.
"That's so good Claire! I'm really happy for you, but it's not like you haven't kissed him before." She said chuckling.
"Yes, but not like this Vanessa. It held so much emotion and this kiss was off screen. Not because we were forced to." I said remembering his lips on mine.
"Didn't we just have this talk about you telling me how nothing could happen and how you both weren't ready?" She said. Me knowing exactly how she was looking at the phone smirking.
"Yes, but Idk. Maybe it's different. I know he would never hurt me and I would never hurt him." I said sighing confused on how to feel.
"Well, I know you've liked him ever since way before you started filming Elvis.. So maybe go slow, take your time and feel out your relationship as something more exclusive. You got this babe."
"Thank you V. I don't know what I would honestly do without you."
"Good thing you won't have to find out." She expressed to me.
"Oh, let's talk soon. I have a meeting with Vogue for a shoot!" She said rushing.
"Okay! Love you be safe." I said to her quickly.
"Love you too! Bye!" She said hanging up.
I sat back on my couch unsure of what to do.
You might be wondering how I possibly have nothing I could be doing but truth is I take so many days off as a way to preserve my mental health.
Doing too much in a week drains way more energy than it should and I would rather be upbeat and happy than depressed and tired.
Deciding to clean my house I got up turning on some Lana Del Rey.
After about 2 hours of nonstop cleaning I got an unexpected call.
