I reached for my phone curious of who would be calling me.

The phone read 'mum🤞🏼'.

I hurriedly picked it up.

"Hey momma! How are you?" I said smiling.

"I'm good my love! How are you? Me and your father miss you."  She beamed.

"I'm good! I miss you both so much."

"I'm gonna schedule you both a flight, next week?" I asked. I missed my parents, truly.

"That's wonderful dear! And perfect timing. We have vacation time for next week."

"So excited to see you I'll send you the ticket details shortly." I said hurriedly running upstairs to get my laptop and find some round trip flights.

"Okay Honey! We love you! See you soon!"

"Bye momma! Tell dad I said hi."

"I will, bye sweetie" She said hanging up.

I found some round trip flights and they would be able to come in saturday morning and leave the following saturday. Today was wednesday. They should have plenty of time to pack.

I got a text from my manager saying I had an audition since Elvis was over I was more than excited to get back into another acting gig.

What's the name of the movie? I asked her.

She texted me saying it was Called Anyone But You.

Very interesting name I said thinking to myself.

She sent me the lines needed for the audition and they were rather short. Only about a page and a half. I could at-least memorize 10+ pages in a couple days.

Feeling quite tired after cleaning my house I decided to take a nap.

Heading to my room, closing my windows, and shutting my curtains. I laid in my bed and immediately fell asleep as my head rested against the satin, silky pillow.

5 hours later...

Waking up to the sound of knocking. I hurriedly ran downstairs almost tripped and busting my ass on the last step. Gracefully jumping over my roomba.

I opened the door to be attacked by none other than...

Way shorter of a chapter but hoping to gain motivation again! I lose motivation so fast 💀🤞🏾
