“Is this all?” Rosalie asked Bella next to an almost full suitcase.
“Yes I think… Wait no! There are more clothes in the other room.” She remembered and rushed into said room to bring them out.
“Where did these come from?” Rosalie took into her hand one of the historical baby dresses that Bella put down before her.
“From the respected wifes of course.” Our mother told her sourly.
“They didn't expect us to bring home all of this junk, did they?” Rosalie asked her with a frown.
“I told you we will need more bags but no you didn't listen!” Alice yelled from the bathroom. She was packing our everyday stuff so she couldn't see Rose who glared at her direction.
“We don't need all of these.” Rose hissed dismissively.
“Don’t be rude. These were gifts. We won’t throw them away.” Esme scolded her lightly.
The trial was over and the women of our family worked very hard to pack everything that we piled up in these few weeks. Renesmee and I sat on the sofa while the others ran up and down around us arranging things. I would help if I weren’t awfully tired but I was. Renesme was already napping on my shoulder too.
My thoughts wandered back into the throne room. Joham was dead. Serena was dead too. It was such an uncomfortable thought that they disappeared like that. They will never raise a hand on us or on their family. He won’t chase after me, his perfect Eve, and he won’t bother Nahuel, his perfect and only Adam. He didn’t exist anymore. Serena didn’t exist anymore. They disappeared from this world. I had to repeat these words because I knew it was true but somehow this tense feeling that often came over me when I think about them just wouldn't disappear.
“I think that’s all.” I peeked up as Alice exclaimed this.
“That means are we ready to leave?” Edward came back with Carlisle and Aro behind him. They were talking at the doorway until now.
“You go so early. We didn't even have time to converse properly.” Aro whined to Carlisle.
“We would stay longer if it were for other circumstances, but the children had a rough month behind them. We want to get them home already.” Carlisle told him honestly.
“I understand that.” Aro mused. “You can bring them to visit anytime. Our wifes took a great liking to them too.” Aro beamed.
“We will think about it.” With a tight smile Edward evaded the offer.
Inside he thought: the sly man wants to win us over by our daughter’s hearts. If they want to stay, we as our parents must follow. This way he could secure two gifted vampires and an interesting set to his collection.
I frowned at that. Does Aro see us as a set of dolls or something? Are we the family edition? I glanced at him to make sure I understood it correctly. I met his all too friendly smile. Yep, He does.
“The plane will depart in two hours.” Alice stepped to us
“Then, let’s go home.” My father picked me up almost all too eagerly.
Bella took Renesmee into her arms very carefully so she wouldn't wake her up. With that we were up to go. At the gates we found Emmett and Jasper talking and joking with the lone wolf vampire Garrett. At the end he couldn't just sneak out without the boys catching him.
“You have to come to hunt with us.” Jasper told him.
“I don’t judge you guys but I don’t think that catching bunnies is my style, you know.” Garrett told him leisurely.
