Aliens and running. Two things that seemed to perfectly sum up Angelina Wrenley's life. Or so she wished.

Angelina has been a Doctor Who fan since 2012, when she first found the show. Since then, she has binged every single episode.

Now, in the year 2023, she has watched every episode and the specials.

Most of her days consisted of watching Doctor Who, going to work, returning home and unwinding with even more of her comfort show.

This day was no different. After a long day of nature photography and hiking, Angelina was ready for dinner and some time with the Eleventh Doctor, her personal favourite.

Upon settling on her couch with her dinner, she quickly turned on the episode: 'Night Terrors'.

Everything started out normal, that is until just before the Doctor set up the Tardis to follow the signal of the child in need.

Angelina watches on, confused as to why he is still staring at the psychic paper.

"Doctor?", Amy calls his name, softly.

'It's time, Lina. It's time to come home.", He reads off the paper.

"What?"

"What?", She and Amy both mutter at the same time.

"Lina. I don't know what's happened, but you need to wake up."

Angelina is startled to see him staring her right in the face as he speaks.

"What is happening?", She mumbles.

"I need you to listen to me, Lina. I need you to come home. Come back to me, please.", The begging look in his eyes only further perplexes her as she carefully moves her dish to the side.

Without knowing why, she feels the urge to touch the screen.

It's almost like she is being pulled towards the screen as her feet move, despite her confusion.

"It's time, Lina. It's time to come home.", The Doctor says again, just as her fingertips make contact with the smooth surface of the television screen.

Unbeknownst to her, the brewing storm just outside her window, increases in intensity. A particularly nasty lightning bolt strikes the antennae connected to the telly, whilst she is still touching the screen.

A scream falls from her lips as the electricity courses through her veins. The sound hangs in the air, only to be drowned out by the sound of the Doctor, worriedly calling out her name.

"Lina! Angelina!"

The last thing she sees before her eyes flutter closed, is her favourite gold coloured locket falling right next to her outstretched palm. Her fingers twitch as she manages to grab the object before her vision is overtaken by black spots.

"Lina! Oh, thank god."

Angelina opens her eyes only to immediately snap them shut again, meaning she is unaware of the purple fog like substance floating away from her body.
