( the theme song for this special as it reminds me of when shadow would look back on hes past life and listen to past songs that are some in this world and now for this special shadow was practicing a violin smt to pass the time then just missions and been wanting to do it sinch he was a kid but he's mother didn't have the money for it )

Shadow carry a violin case to the Christmas party sonic was hosting for everyone as he hid it from everyone as he said hi as then sonic came to hug him and gives him a small kiss on the cheek .

Sonic : Hey shadow, glad you make it, " he said, grinning *

Shadow : Glad I did. Luckily, there wasent any missions that g.u.n wanted to give me

Sonic : well that's good want to come in it's a bit chilly out there * shadow nods and comes in as everyone there by the fireplace in the living room chatting even omega was there with a little Santa hat for the festivities.

Shadow sat down near sonic as everyone greeted him as he waved back as he recall moments by the fire with he's past famliy as he's mom complaining how he shouldn't eat too much candy as he talks to everyone seeing how they been as tails was decorating with cream by the tree .

Knuckles even came by as everyone knows Eggman is relaxing as well as it is awful to ruin chirstmas ans especially if it is too cold for such things, sinch shadow barely got through the blizzard

Sonic remembers smt as then gives shadow a present as it was styled in a red bow with a black wrapped gift as shadow look at it for a sec

Sonic : Why don't you open it, shadow !

Shadow nodded and then opened a gift, and it had two necklaces, one with a black and red style, half of a spindash while the other one was a blue one

Shadow : What's this?

Sonic : I saw people wear stuff like this smts while running so I wear one necklace and you wear the other so we match together * he said grinning * as he gave shadow the blue one and he gives himself the red and black one as they wear it.

( Also, if you didn't know this is the Sonic Adventure 2 logo but with the mixed spindashes, and I thought it would be an interesting concept for a jewelry piece . )

Then sonic show they interlock together as the small magnets attach to each other as shadow smiled a bit and thank Sonic again, which Sonic replied.

Sonic : No problem, shadow. I am glad you like it as tails made it for us, and he built a small GPS into them so we can find each other if we are far away .

Shadow : That was nice of tails to help you out

Sonic : I mean, he is my little buddy after all

( the night was nice even Rouge pulling a trick with a holly leave om sonic and shadow As sonic kissed shadow when it was shown and then trys to prank knuckles with it who then shoved the holly leave and walk out blushing)

Them shadow grabbed the violin case as he showed it to them as a suprise for a performance.

Rouge: I didn't know you played violin. How come you didn't tell me ?

Shadow : I was practicing and wanted to play it for you guys as a thanks for accepting me in part of your lives even if smts I don't deserve it but as a way to show thx I wanted to do this

Shadow then takes the violin out as he sets himself up while everyone sits down, waiting for him to play as then he starts playing the violin

Shadow shows amazing prowess with the violin as Shadow remembers all the lessons with Maria, who was watching too from the counch nearby, proud of shadow for remembering the steps as he played Christmas Carol on the violin .

He played well until the end of the song as everyone bowed, but maria held a slient finger to her mouth as shadow plays a song that isn't from this world, but he's past world .

Search up luminary by Joel as wattpad is glitching out and won't load pictures or yt videos .

After that song, everyone was amazed by shadows skill even more as they clapped as Shadow vow and put the violin back in the case while cream walked up to him.

Cream : Mister Shadow, can you teach me how to do that, too.

She asked kindly while shadow smiled and patted her head

Shadow : Sure, just ask your mom and see what she thinks

Cream nods and then runs and hugs her mom and asks

Cream : Mommy, can I learn how to play the violin with mister shadow !?

Vanilla * creams mothers * nods as she patted cream *

Vanilla: we just have to schedule some lessons over at Shadows Place

Maria : I, as well as shadow, wouldn't be this good without me .* she says chuckles still filled with live even for her old age *

Vanilla nods

( Then it was getting late as the tails stayed as he lived with Sonic as everyone said their goodbyes as Sonic stopped shadow as Shadow was confused as sonic)

Sonic : Why don't you Staty the night for today, " he said nervously, blushing *

Shadow then looks to sonics expression already knowing what's he's thinking as he nodded in sonics suprise as then that night ended when the two hedgehogs layed together in each other's arms simply enjoying their company.
